“I ordered from this Jamaican spot through Too Good To Go and was really impressed with the value! I got a generous portion of rice & peas with curry chicken, and the serving size was more than enough for a full meal. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and had that rich, comforting curry taste that really hit the spot.

People can be intimidated by the atmosphere and location but don’t worry, everyone is nice and just enjoying themselves“

“Me and my husband went there for our 2 year wedding anniversary on September 17th. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and he ordered the Veggie Fried Rice. While our meals were being made, we played a game of pool. That was fun. When we got the meals, I noticed there was no chicken in my chow mein, so I told the lady about it. She was very nice and had it remade for me. And the food was DELICIOUS!

I highly recommend going there, service is great, food is amazing and the prices are affordable! And go play a game of pool while you're at it!“

“Came for dinner and night entertainment. Djs are great, some of my drinks were watered down, or tasted completely horrendous. The food was ok. Not the worst but not the greatest. They used to be better. Regan the manager was professional for the most part. He kind of lost it all with a young lady who he claimed was intoxicated but I didnt notice it and he created an embarrassing scene before 10pm which is wild“

“I had an amazing stay at the Fairmont Royal York. We received a wonderful upgrade, and the room was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming — truly above and beyond.

They even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and strawberries for my husband’s birthday, which made our stay so special. The service exceeded all of my expectations.

“I recently visited Clockwork for a beautiful tea for a close friend's big birthday celebration. There was a great selection of teas and delicious treats, including gluten-free and nut-free options for those with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was perfect, and everyone had a wonderful time. Before the tea, I emailed Elise to make sure everything was perfect. She was very lovely and accommodating. The staff members Gemma and Leah were nice but also incredibly attentive, making our celebration even more special. The whole experience was great. I would highly recommend it!“

Our server was very attentive so we enjoyed our meal. For dessert we tried cheesecake (excellent) and carrot cake (good but very sweet). Overall, a great experience.“

“Arguably the best steak I've ever had in my life. And I’ve been to several upscale steakhouses where the bill was bigger than my bi-weekly paycheque for a party of 4 (fortunately, I didn’t have to foot the bill).

Ruth's is a bit pricier than The Keg, but the quality of the steak justifies the cost.

It was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned and mouthwatering.

“We went to the bar yesterday and loved how clean it was—no weird smells at all! The staff were super friendly. When we first walked in, the music was pretty loud, but they quickly turned it down for us, which was nice. They have karaoke too, and the sound system is awesome. The chicken wings were really tasty! I’ll definitely be back next time. Overall, it was a great experience!“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“Great place to play Billiards its really clean and they use disinfectants to clean the tables and everything else. I enjoyed my time here even before the pandemic and the waiters and staff are great to. The food and drinks were great. Friends liked the place to. “The food and service are always excellent. Our waitress did a great job and was very accommodating. All the staff make sure you are satisfied with your meal. Mains were steak, shrimp and blackened mahi mahi fish. The fish is a very innovative dish with a great taste profile. All the meals were well prepared. The fish and shrimp should have been cooked just a touch less but they were still excellent. The noise level is very high since the restaurant was busy. Overall, a great meal.“

“Stopped by on Saturday and had an amazing meal. The oxtail was tender and full of flavour, the roti was soft and delicious, and the pumpkin soup was the perfect warm, comforting start.
Our server was attentive, friendly, and on point the entire time, which made the experience even better.

“We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the ambience and attention to detail at the Broadview. It was beautifully remodeled, but still had unique historic detail and touches everywhere. Our room was perfect and included a record player and a vinyl library on our floor! I appreciate things like the well stocked mini bar and quality toiletries. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There was a water shut down issue on the street that was completely out of the hotels control and they compensated us with a discount, even though it was not their fault. It had really cozy and charming Christmas vibes too! We cannot wait to go back.“
