“Had a fantastic experience at Scaddabush! The food was great — generous portions and full of flavor, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal out.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server, Ji Won, was amazing — attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference and turned a good meal into a great experience.

The Food was the best I've ever had at that very spot. The burger🍔 was ★GREAT★!!! The poutine was ★GREAT★ too!
The Burger🍔 was super filling for Me, My Missus ate the poutine n' was full uP with Me only eating a few bits. I also got the onion rings because I didn't think the Burger🍔 was going to be So Filling! We left with more than ½ of the box of onion rings n' a last few sips of a drink We shared.
There's LOTS of options to drink at this spot. Beer, wine, coolers n' a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks for kids n' those who don't drink.
Well I've said enough but I don't know about the prices because I was sitting n' eating with Our 6 ½ month old Daughter n' My Missus Loves to use the card💳 because of all the optimum points📈 We get every time it's used.
But it seemed fair priced for being at a zoo.
After all the walking it's the Perfect spot, there's a hut 🛖 like structure but without walls of course n' a spot right around the corner with loads of picnic🧺 tables to eat at, all covered by tree's🌳🌲 so it's all shaded.
Get the kids out of the heat well they eat. The Rhinos 🦏 🦏 are right there to look at well eating.
Plus there's 🚻,🚮 n'♻️ there.
I hope this helps with someone's visit to the Toronto Zoo when they're hot n' hungry with kids or without.“

“We had an absolutely lovely experience here last night. We sat at the bar and had 3 courses of food, all beautifully presented and unique flavours. We were served by Ana who was informative, professional and enthusiastic about what she does. The monthly changing wine flights allow for trying 4 varieties that you may never had thought to have, and if you like something that much well you can buy a bottle to go! Brilliant 🍷

“We really wanted to enjoy the special event we attended, given it was $185 a ticket, but our seating was delayed by 45 minutes (though we did get some wine while we waited). In addition, guests from the first seating walked directly through the event when the sommelier was speaking to our seating, and a rowdy group at the bar made it impossible to hear the sommelier. I encourage the organizers to more closely consider such details for future events as these details detracted from our experience, and made our introduction to The Daughter not as good as it could have been. “Immediately felt comfortable and love the cozy lighting and atmosphere. We didn't feel squeezed in, despite the cozy size. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made a killer martini. We had the chips du jour (so good we ordered more to go), the tar tar which was sumptuous, cavatelli with mushrooms and the short rib (savoured every bite). We ordered the Antipasti Board to start and it was well curated and had ample portions. We followed this up a Pizzano pizza and Tagliatelle Bolognese. Very flavourful on both counts. And Pistachio gelato to finish. They are just getting started! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!“

“Great little spot for pizza. This place has been on my radar for two years and I finally had the opportunity to go this past trip to Toronto. The pizza had a beautiful thin crust with puffy edges. Ingredients were fresh and uncomplicated. The appetizers were all fantastic and you can’t beat the price. I would definitely recommend and will be back the next time I’m in town.“

Two of us ordered five dishes and loved them all. The sommelier, Tessa, makes an amazing Arancello (better than Limoncello)! Her wine list is interesting and extensive, covering most types and regions, but we would have liked more bottles from Ontario, although the ones provided are all really good. We shall be back.“

“The food was absolutely amazing. My 3 daughters and I went there for dinner during Summerlicious 2022. We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉“

“Excellent food. Not the regular type of Hakka Chinese. So dont expect your squid or chilly chicken to be something that you are used to, from the hakka chinese style food. The spicyness (heat) is just the right amount. The sea food really has that sea food taste (fishy taste). There are several must try items which I will order on the next visit.
Thoigh seating capacity is limited, the ambience is nice. Nothing flashy but a place for a date night chinese food. The bar can get pretty loud. They have halal items on the menu.

The cocktail is a bit expensive at $18 a glass (see picture). Try atleast once.

“Came here to celebrate a birthday and had a great experience. We took advantage of a special they were running for a bunch of oysters and a bottle of sparkling wine—the oysters were pretty fresh! For my main, I ordered the pasta, which was cooked to a perfect al dente and packed with flavor.

The ambiance of the restaurant is very quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for a nice dinner out. Our servers were also very mindful and attentive throughout the evening without being intrusive. Overall, a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back for future special occasions!“
