4 Best Chinese Restaurants near Simcoe

“We have eaten Chinese food for over 40 years, a go-to favorite when doing take out. Being new to the area we called Hoys but they were too busy to take our order and we were asked to call back in an hour, it was 6 pm. Called Garden and the very friendly lady took our order, and the food was delivered promptly. The food was very tasty, fresh, and loved the noodles ( never experienced them before) that came with the soup. Their prices were slightly cheaper than Hoys. This is our restaurant, for Chinese food now, no place else compares.“

“We order lunch for pick up - they have a reasonable take out menu - I must say the fried rice is a hit or miss - this time it was very dry unfortunatey, other times it's nice and oily or just more moist if that makes sence? I had to add alot of soy sauce - thats why the 4 stars for food I gave. The General Tao's Chicken is amazing - the egg roll in the lunch special it comes with is quite good. The person who takes the order is always friendly and at pick up also - thank you for your great customer service. Until next time ;)“

“We order here all the time and spend quite a bit on money. This past Sat we order a large amount of food for a birthday. I called the day before take sure someone could carry to it for me as I recently had surgery. They told me no problem just tell the lady when you call Friday. I placed the order Friday and mentioned to the lady if someone could carry out for me...she repeated me and said that's not a problem. When I arrived for me food she started to give me the box I asked if someone could carry it out for me as I recently had surgery. The lady checking everyone out asked another girl if she could she gave a dirty look and mumbled then walked away to the back. As she stood there just watching and didn't help. A lovely lady that just paid for her order asked where my car was and I told her just outside. She said ok you carry her bag which was small and she carried the box to my car. Yins you can do better! Your staff can do better. Very disappointed as if they couldn't have done thos I would have made other arrangements. Very disappointed in the staff...a little help goes a long...the food was delicious as always. We can do better!!“
