“It was my first time visiting this restaurant. The scenery was very beautiful with the Asian umbrella design, Beautiful decorated with flowers, friendly staff, Everything was delicious and the food was very very affordable. A+ from me. Highly recommend the two guys (TIN & NINAD). They were very friendly with nice smiles, got our plates and kept asking us if we needed anything else. I was also very impressed with the manger who came around with a pleasant smile asking us if we enjoyed our meals. Very good experience. Definitely would recommend this to anyone.“
“I love this place.Keep in mind it's not a dine in restaurant. They only have takeout, but it's self reserve which is great because there is no long wait times. The owner was so great when we called in to place our order. She invited us to come and taste a few of what they had for free and then pick what we want. The buns, potstickers and dumplings are very tasty. I hear their soup is too.I'd recommend this place to anyone on any day.“
“It's a hidden gem in the middle of London if you're looking for freshly cooked Chinese cuisine. Best of all, they're open before 3pm!The sweet and sour pork was cooked perfectly - crunchy and saucy, with fresh cut bell peppers. The chow mein and the beef broccoli had nice servings, and the fried rice was very tasty. The large wonton soup was more than enough side serving for four of us, 2 adults and 2 children below 10. The design of the restaurant was a bit dated, but I think it gives you a very homey feel.“
“Great atmosphere with friendly staff and great food too. The chairman, cluck off, bang bang, jerk chicken baos and fries in particular were great. Coleslaw was a bit too salty, but otherwise food was reasonably priced with good portions!Board games are available to play. Also note - If you show your parking tickets you can get a discount and Western meal plan is accepted!“
“Visited The Ravenous Taotie for lunch, a cozy spot with a decor of figurines and a server in cosplay, enhancing the quirky atmosphere. The place is small and fills up quickly, so arriving early helped us get a seat without a reservation. It's a partial service restaurant where you write your order on paper and fetch your own containers for leftovers. We ordered the braised spare ribs with egg noodles and a braised beef rice combo. Both dishes arrived quickly, within 10-15 minutes, and were packed with lots of tender, flavorful meat. The portions were generous for the price, offering great value. They have various spice levels; I chose less spicy, but options are available for more heat. The food was authentic and satisfying, leaving us with plenty of leftovers. Overall, The Ravenous Taotie is a great, affordable spot for casual dining. Definitely worth a return visit to explore more dishes. Tip: Consider booking ahead for dinner, as it seems to get busy!“
“My wife and I happened to be driving by and noticed this restaurant and having a craving for some Asian cuisine we thought we would give it a try as we’ve never heard of this place before. I must say we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Many Authentic Asian dishes. The food was very tasty came out fast and was not dummied down to a Canadian version of Chinese food. Easily 4.5 out of 5“
“Went here for dinner spicy noodle / soup dish and egg fried rice dish, the owner was very courteous with walking me through dishes and giving suggestions on what I might like. Great atmosphere loved the music, and beautiful inside. The food was AMAZING. I’ve never had Chinese food so authentic and delicious. Only place to get Chinese food in London.“
“This is the best Chinese restaurant in London! We only stumbled upon it 4 months ago. It is a gem! The service is amazing! The food is amazing! We’ve been here 4 times now and we’ve tried different things every time and loved everything. Their egg rolls are the best we’ve had in London and they make all their sauces homemade. So the plum sauce , sweet and sour sauce , etc. . I’ve never had plum sauce and sweet and sour like this. It’s just far superior. Tonight we ordered an XL Special Wonton soup and asked for noodles. It has bbq pork, chicken, bokchoy, carrots, pork wontons and egg noodles. The owner also recommended their sesame chicken. We couldn’t believe how good everything was. Their fried rice is also the best! This is our new favourite place ❤️“
“I tried this take out , after some recommendations and it was very Good ! Hot , well packaged , great tasting , such as egg rolls, pad Thai , and chicken fried rice Your kind thoughtful young lady at the take way counter I will try again , and next time ask for a bit spicier Pad Thai , but my wife likes its mild so it fit well“
“I have noticed that food there are not great as my wife got sick when she ate dinner at home. I have noticed that the integrient for Asian food is terrible. I would give 2 stars. I will not comment this to someone until Food need lot of improvement. I will not go back to buy Asian dinner there.“
“Ordered wontons in chilli oil with Thai black tea with milk. The umami flavors and chili oil make up all the warm feels you want on a cold night while you sip away. The wontons were plentiful and the star of the show, silky smooth and very filling. The Thai tea was not too sweet and washed the spice away with ease. Amazing combination. The staff also offered us a free lemon green tea which was refreshing!Thank you for the amazing experience. My wife and I will be back again!“
“Authentic north eastern Chinese food, northeastern mom likes eating here, she loves the pork hock. Their meatballs reminds me of my grandmothers, and the Guo bao rou (sweet and sour pork) taste just like the ones in ChinaProbably wouldn’t recommend the Chinese American food as much, not bad but you can’t just get authentic anywhere, (and the cheese wontons need more cheese) I like cheese“
“I'm not a fan of Canadian-Chinese food but this place is one of the exceptions.I ordered the sweet and sour tofu with fried rice. The rice was really well done. Each grain of rice was separated and coated with flavour. It's not overly flavoured with dark soy sauce to get the colour. The sweet and sour tofu was fried on the spot. The sauce didn't taste artificial and not too sweet.I used feel a lot of Canadian-Chinese places are held back by the bad food and recipes. Not this place. They are good cooks but limited by Canadian-Chinese food and recipes. If the owners opened any other type of restaurant, they'd still succeed in making delicious food.In addition, the service was nice too.“
“See all those 5 star reviews? Yes, and for good reason. As others have noted, it's easy to find Sichuanese and Hong Kong style restaurants, and plenty of Canadian-Chinese restaurants, but this place gets special love for offering northern-style dishes. I don't care if a restaurant serves 10 dishes that don't move the dial. What I care about, and what the vast majority of you care about, is whether there is at least one or, if we're lucky, several dishes that remind us of the special qualities of a region we love. 5 stars for THAT. Yes, 5 stars every time.Dietary restrictions: Keto friendlyLow-carb friendlyCarnivore friendlyPaleo friendly“
“Mr. Panda BBQ's food is really good!! We finally get to try their food and they didn't disappoint. We live relatively far from this restaurant but the drive was worth it. They're open late, which was great. Their stewed beef soup/hot pot was on point. It was spicy (in a truly good way) but we just can't get enough of it--you just can't stop eating it, and you'll be craving for more!! The Spicy Eggplant was also tasty. Hefty serving, saucy, and delicious. The pork intestine skewers were also bomb!! We also had their Seafood Fried Rice and it was good too. We will definitely be back to try more of their food items. One more thing I want to mention, their service was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, knew how to effectively communicate, and they were very personable and helpful. I'm glad we discovered this gem. You have to come try this restaurant. Highly recommended!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Food was super but the service was even better!! I think the owner came out to greet us at the end and they were not in a hurry to give us the bill and rush us out even though it was close to closing time. Tried Congee Queen, but Congee Chan is the King! Tried new food items and was delighted!! Old favourites are never a disappointment. So surprised with so much selection. Will go back in a heart beat!! Was very nice to have a homemade feel kind of food when you've worked for 12 hrs and it's a holiday!! Missed the kids on family day, but the food here and enjoying it with great company made up for it 1000%“
“Our go to for chinese cuisine. We ordered from here for the first time tonight (delivery) and are pleased to say we enjoyed our meal. We ordered lemon chicken, orange chicken, beef lo mein and veg fried rice. Food was delivered before expected time, a good temp, decent portions and the best is we don't feel the regret of fullness and disgust after, with leftovers too.“

“Ordered late at night, drove and picked up. We were greeted at the door by a very nice women. The breading on the chicken is amazing! I have had a lot of different Chinese food but nothing like this. Honestly better than KFC and Popeyes combined! The lemon sauce to go with it complimented the chicken very well. My kids that don't overly like Chinese food really enjoyed the chicken and sauce. The vegetable rice was delicious. As someone who doesn't like too much soya in my rice this was perfect. It had the flavor but it wasn't overpowering. I'm sorry other people had bad experiences, but I had a fantastic experience and will be definitely ordering again in the future. Also I find the prices to be very fair and the portions to be great as well.“
“Got take out here as I’m out of town. We got the Cantonese chow melon and a sweet and sour chicken dish with pineapple and peppers.Food came out fast! And the portions are very generous. The Cantonese chow mein had some strands of burnt noodles but I can overlook this as I can cut it off with my fork. The veggies had a good crunch to them and the proteins are juicy. The sweet and sour pineapple chicken was too saucy for our liking so if you do get it, but sides of rice. They do have lunch combos if you ask for that menu as well if you’re in this part of town. I’d like to try their other dishes ?“
“One of my work go-to's when I've forgotten my lunch or just need a pick me up. Staff are always friendly and awesome. Food is fresh and tasty, and portion sizes are very generous. If your feeling like some tasty noodles, Wok Box is your place. (Would recommend the Dan Dan noodles if you like some spice in your life!)Wheelchair accessibility: Store is ground level and has tables that are spaced far apart.“
“Lovely establishment for authentic Chinese cuisine with a variety of dishes and desserts to choose from. The first time I ordered from here was actually through toogoodtogo and I was quite impressed with the quality of the food even then. I’d definitely recommend getting the fried buns with condensed milk and the dumplings they offer.Vegetarian options: Quite a bit of vegetarian options available. I’d definitely recommend trying the steam buns and jelly!“
“I cannot speak highly enough of how considerate & thoughtful Mandarin Hyde Park has been regarding food allergies.A member of our family has a very real allergy to "Mugwort", which basically translates into a significant allergy to onions & garlic, and has made dining out &/or ordering in a challenge. It is so meaningful for them to be able to genuinely enjoy Chinese food - and it is because we are able to request that Mandarin omit these from any of the dishes we order.Mandarin never made us feel as if we were imposing when we made these requests, which has been greatly appreciated, and all the dishes tasted fantastic!Needless to say, Mandarin Hyde Park our favourite place to order Chinese from & will continue to do so as often as we can :)“
