“I have been wanting to try for years but life gets in the way lol, so happy and fulfilled that I finally got to dine here!! From what I gathered (from following their page), they change their menu from time to time (unsure of how often and when) and they print it with a cover that often features something artistic, a really nice touch.

The place feels like a speakeasy, when I got in there's a curtain that opens up to this dimly lit dining area with a bar area as well (but ample lighting I assure you). I mentioned that they change menus and that these menus featured art right? You would see a collection of the past ones framed and hanging on the walls which is a really great presentation of how established and dynamic this place is. When we went there's no wait to be seated but things got a bit busy where they had to start a wait list but things flowed nicely so I don't think the wait time was that long.

When we got seated we were explained how the menu worked as they were featuring this Monopoly themed drink menu where you can choose a drink or roll a dice and leave it up to fate to choose for you! But since I had a lot to do after dinner I opted for a mocktail which is pictured here (I am ashamed I can't remember the exact name - sour peach something?).

Moving on to the food, we got mini KFC, steak tataki, and kimchi chahan - favorite of the night STEAK TATAKI! I cannot stop gushing about that dish to everyone I can think of that would appreciate the flavor bomb of that chutney, it was absolute heaven in my mouth and the sear on the steak was perfect!!! The kimchi chahan comes second for me, it had this cripsy brussel sprout topping which had this seasoning on it that made it extra special, my partner loved it so much that he didn't want to mix it in and just eat it as it is but of course I wanted to experience a whole bite of the dish so I just set aside some pieces for him to munch on while we mix the bowl - as you can on the picture it was already mixed, our excitement made me forget to even take a photo of the dish untouched haha! The flavors melded so well for me, it tasted like comfort. For the mini KFC, the sizes of each bite were perfect that you would get all the flavor the chef is wanting you to experience per bite!

Overall, I would come back to this place to try all their other dishes. It was truly worthwhile! And I am excited to get my taste buds satisfied again!“

“Run! Don’t walk to this place!! We ordered a Med Party tray, Hamashi Sashimi, seaweed salad, Nigiri Tobiko. The pictures speak for themselves, super fresh, large cuts, bursting with flavour! We’ve also previously ordered Poke bowls both Tuna and Salmon and were blown away how fresh, flavourful and filling the portions are. What a fabulous addition to the St Catharine’s/Lincoln food scene!! Oh, and the folks running the show are kind, appreciative, highly skilled and professional. I’ve finally found my local Sushi fix after 4 years of searching 🙏“

“I had salmon sushi, eel sushi, and rolls at Bear Sushi, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious!! The store was clean and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was a satisfactory meal, and I would definitely come back if I visit here again~“

“We had an excellent experience at Wind tonight- there was an unfortunate event of a medical emergency, in which the staff reacted with the upmost compassion and professionalism. The guest quietly insisted on covering the drinks for the people around them (which was so so so kind & unnecessary- but thank you ❤️ just glad you are okay), and Wind covered an additional round if we were interested, which was totally above and beyond for a circumstance outside of anyone’s control. My deepest gratitude & well wishes go towards the guest who had a tough night- that was so kind & generous of you, I hope you’re doing well ❤️ and to the staff who maintained a positive energy & professional manner, job well done, everything was handled so courteously & thoughtfully.“

“My daughter and I frequent this establishment and we have never been disappointed. The service is speedy and courteous. The food is very good in taste and quality. It’s very reasonably priced and the restaurant is clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys sushi, or would like to try it.“

“Honestly the best restaurant to eat at in the Fairview Mall. The staff are great. Always so friendly. And the coolest part is watching them cook the food on front of you. It’s so delicious. I always get extra teriyaki sauce! Paid $15 for their rice with veggies, shrimp, chicken, and beef. And I also got a large bottle of coke to drink. 100% recommend the Iron Chef. :)“

“A great spot to stop by when visiting Niagara. From the outside it looks simple, but once you step in, the interior has a clean, minimalist design that feels very Korean in the best way.
