“A 10/10 must stop foodie restaurant. We enjoyed 1) the gobbler: a vegan spin on a thanksgiving sandwich with gravy for dipping and 2) the halloumi hot honey sandwich: a vegan hot grilled halloumi cheese with pesto and tofu bacon jam with greens. Both of our dishes were excellent for taste, texture, and presentation. Thank you Heather for hosting us and answering all our menu questions. So many choices and styles of dishes here at Rise Above. Truly a must stop shop! We will be returning tomorrow for a homemade vegan pumpkin cheesecake.“

“I was so happy to find this place using this app! These doughnuts are so delicious and unique. It's difficult to choose because there are so many options. My favourites are the Boston cream doughnut and the cannoli cronut. Next time, I will definitely stop here again to buy a box of doughnuts.“

“We had an excellent experience at Wind tonight- there was an unfortunate event of a medical emergency, in which the staff reacted with the upmost compassion and professionalism. The guest quietly insisted on covering the drinks for the people around them (which was so so so kind & unnecessary- but thank you ❤️ just glad you are okay), and Wind covered an additional round if we were interested, which was totally above and beyond for a circumstance outside of anyone’s control. “Hands-down, this is the cleanest one in all of Niagara. The staff are super friendly. They give you big serving sizes of the items you want in your burrito. “Went here on a whim the other day and so glad we did! This place is the real deal – great food, great staff, and you can just tell they put genuine care into what they make. The menu is packed with awesome options, and the pizzas we tried were fantastic.

We went with the Meatza, Hey Macarena, and Butter Chicken pizzas. The Meatza was LOADED with salty, savory meats – a true carnivore’s dream. The Hey Macarena was creamy and garlicky, with perfectly cooked macaroni noodles baked right in – comfort food on a pizza! The Butter Chicken was another standout with its rich, flavorful sauce and balanced toppings. Every slice felt thoughtfully made and super satisfying.

Definitely worth checking out – and we’ll for sure be back to explore more of their menu beyond just the pizzas. Highly recommend!“

“I visited Khas Patti today and tried the dal makhni. I had asked for it to be made very mild — they really did their best, but it was still a bit too spicy for me, even though the flavors were absolutely delicious. What truly stood out was their kindness; even though they were just about to close, they happily offered to replace it with another dish.
