“In Kanata for one night while visiting our daughter and looking for sushi close by. Windbell Sushi rose to the top in searches and we took a chance since it was relatively late, ~8PM. It was a bright beacon in a small plaza of business that were closed for the day. A small but welcoming space, I think there were 4 or 5 small tables. Seated and taken care of the owners' children (I assume). The menu is extensive and varied, reasonably priced. Food came quickly and was delicious! Lovely people, great food :)“

“Otroligt god mat! Rekommenderar starkt deras halstrade lax i kombination med chilimajo. Deras rullar och poke bowls är också storfavoriter här hemma. Vardagslyx; 10/10!“

“This is our go-to ramen place in Ottawa. Food is good. Ramen is consistently good and properly done no matter which kind we choose. I mean it's not spectacular, but at least it's legit enough for Japanese ramen, esp. for Ottawa where we really don't have a lot of choice. They always have utensils for children and it's very helpful when we bring our toddler. The only gripe I have would be that the high chairs sometimes have sticky things on them, but that's minor, we just wipe it before using.“

“I'll start by saying the food was really good. But what an experience. Everything was going great tonight at hockey sushi. Until I had to go to the restroom. Was finishing up my business, and come to find there's no toilet paper. I waited patiently but no one came in to my rescue. Then I saw that someone had left me 1 sheet of paper towel wedged in the stall panel. It was enough to get me into the other stall. But there was no tp there either. Anyways I figured it out. Food was great and I appreciated the authentic staff. I got a nose bleed and drank a Molson Canadian. Just need toilet paper.“

“I was definitely super hungry when ordering so that may be affecting my glowing review, but even before ordering, I was impressed by how many interesting veggie options they had and how they clearly label which options are veggie as well. The edamaki is salty, spicy, creamy, and crunchy. Fairly priced and quick service even just before closing. Hit the spot ☺️.“

“Extremely fresh ingredients, extra crispy onions on top and perfect other ingredients-rice ratio.
It's not cheap, but also quality comes with a price most of the times. I forgot that here in Canada prices are displayed without taxes, I was hoping to pay 17 dollars for this dish, but I ended paying almost 20.“

“Sushi was very fresh and tasty. A bit pricey for the size of the smaller rolls but delicious nonetheless. They were generous with the pickled ginger and soya sauce. Service was friendly. Staff made some suggestions and gave me a sheet that explained what was inside the different types of rolls. I enjoyed them all.“

“I dont usually give praise.. however I wanted to tell you guys about the experience I had with Maki sushi. Something happen to our order and David is a lowkey superhero. He defused the situation and provided a solution and covered 100% of their most expensive platter. I have not seen such amazing customer service in my life, let alone the sushi being pretty good and reasonable priced. One negative I would add was I wish there were more selection though. However tuna and salmon are my fav and that was fully on their menu
Thank you David for taking the inititive! I totally recommend Maki sushi“
