“Funny enough, when we were deciding where we would eat while driving through this place, my kids wanted fish and I wanted Indian. we went to an Indian restaurant and it was closed, and we were going to just leave and I saw this place and decided to get my kids fish. walked in and it was Indian food! “Road to Binbrook Ontario today from Niagara Falls to try Lucky's Fish & Chips. We had read other reviews that were good so we decided to try them. Well worth the ride. Nice friendly service, good quantity and the Halibut was excellent. Frie also. Definitely will be back. No dine in but they did have an outside patio w/umbrellas which did the trick.“

“been here plenty of times and it’s my first time in awhile. last time they gave the sauce in the baggies but never seen them give out the sauce in THIS SMALL OF A PORTION. those four have enough sauce in them combined to fill ONE.
sadly very disappointed by this and currently going to buy a bottle of tartar sauce :,) please put more sauce in the containers!!! pleaseee pretty please lol ?“

“I recommend sea shanty fish & chips burlington the fisherman's supper was delicious and huge serving. There chips are freshly made. All staff are very accomodating.“

“Haddock fish was delicate & flaky that melted in the mouth while had golden texture just as the name suggests with perfect crisp and crunch in each bite.

Fries were seasoned just right that enhances its natural potato flavor without overpowering it.

They serve generous portions at a very economical price.

“Halibut House is a great place to enjoy halibut and chips at a reasonable price given the serving sizes. Jose will cook your fish with a light batter upon request. It is tasty and can be enjoyed with coleslaw, french fries or sweet potato fries. I highly recommend the battered mushrooms in advance. Cheesecake selections from The Cheesecake Factory are available for desert.

The atmosphere is comfortable but a little spartan as is the norm in most f & c establishments but Jose and the other members of staff make it a warm and welcoming experience.

In an era when the art of properly cooking fish and chips in general appears to be declining, as is the portion size, this location of Halibut House is a welcomed exception.

Parking: Located in the Appleby Shopping Center with plenty of convenient free parking.“

“So disappointed this last time I went to Hutch's. I ordered a large fish and chips and both pieces were barely the size of what one piece used to be. I always got a large because I would only ever eat one piece and bring the other home for lunch the next day but not anymore. Both pieced fit on the plate and were covered with fries you couldn't even see the fish and trust me there wasn't as many fries either. Definitely not worth 18 bucks anymore. not saying I won't go back but it won't be as often as I used to. I am going to start looking for another place to get my fish and chips.“
