They were SLAMMED, was about an hour wait for pick up but I would wait 3 hours for their food ! It was HOT & FRESH straight out of the kitchen upon pick up. “For buddies meet for dinner on 04/06/24 @ 530pm for diner. Place was surprisingly almost empty. The food was in general pretty good, the quantity was over whelming. The price was a bit high but not terrible. Its been years since our last visit but we all left full with leftovers for a couple of days.“

“I tried Summer Palace again after a long time away and like it a lot. I think the spring rolls are great. They are very accommodating in giving us hot mustard on the side. If you haven’t been back lately, give them another chance! We like the sweet and sour shrimp and wonton soup, too.“

“We got lunch on Christmas and even though they were VERY busy, the food was still VERY good! We got Pan Fried Dumplings and Beef with Peapods/Mushroom. The sauce was delicious! I had to order in person because the phone lines were busy, but it was worth it!“

“Favorite takeout place for multiple years now.
Their combo dinners for 1 are really good value, and they give you the option to modify them from half-and-half to a full serving (ie lemon chicken) for their combos at no extra cost.
Take out is quick and most times ready a couple minutes before your pick up time so there's little to no waiting once you get there.“

“I came here, not feeling good needed some soup and even though it was no veggie soup in the menu he made me the best veggie soup. It tasted so good. Oh my God and with the hot oil broke up all that congestion. I appreciate you, sir and you are a master of your craft. The egg fu young Remind me of home in Ohio perfect. “Now this spot man for they doggone Chinese food they be point on and the portions are big but they don't matter whether you walk in and order or you call in in order you ain't getting out of there no faster because they not fixing your call in order to you walk in and pay then your order gets started fixing That's the only downside but the food is well worth the wait but if you in a rush don't go here you not going it's not a rough spot but they spot on they fool good and your orders coming out that window correct only after you pay“

“This place is my newest favorite Chinese food spot in the Detroit area. It's not traditional Chinese food, it's the Chinese food I grew up with in my home town. The fried rice and lo mein have fresh ingredients and it isn't greesy just to be greesy. I'm particular about the noodles used in lo mein, this place has the right thickness of noodle. Their egg rolls are delicious, crunchy on the outside soft but cooked on the inside. Some places fill an egg roll too much, here they are just perfect. ABC chicken was all white meat, had fresh broccoli and two breaded breasts sliced with a side of gravy and fried rice. I'm excited I found a Chinese food place that has exactly what I want. Just keep in mind, your picking up food in a restaurant maybe 2 people are working in, so don't be impatient or disappointed they don't have tables to serve you at. Just be greatful 15 minutes was only 15 minutes.“

“This is my favorite for chinese food. I do not go anywhere else. This is it.
Parking: Other business in a complex that I also visit. Grocery store, Little Ceasars, Social security office and ladies get your nails ? done also there.
Kid-friendliness: Yes you can bring the small wonders with you. Be careful no running in the parking lot and hold there hands.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is all businesses are wheelchair accessible.“

“My wife told me she wanted to go here and get some Chinese food. She said she used to go there when she was a kid she know I'm real particular about my Chinese food. I usually go the opposite way but we went there and I tried it. The food was excellent and they gave us. Huge portions it's enough food to eat for 3 days.“

“Never been here before. I was sick with a stomach flu so I didn’t feel like anything heavy or overly flavourful. I ordered the wonton soup with egg noodles. When I entered into the place, it looked clean and the food from the kitchen smelled good. Staff greeted me immediately and were very kind. When I got home and tried the soup, it was everything I was looking for. Will be coming back when I feel better to try the other stuff on the menu!“

“The food was warm and tasty. Great price, better deal in the long run than taking the wife to McDonald's. The only drawback is that it's a small town restaurant, so limited selection. Sorry, no sushi, but it has the standard rice, chop sui, egg rolls, wanton soup, wok fried vegetables, and small salad bar. Some cocktail shrimp and deep fried shrimp my wife likes, that's it for sea food. The staff is friendly. Want to be full at the end of your meal this is the place. Atmosphere is no-frills, but the restaurant is clean. I would highly recommend it if you are passing by the town of Essex .“

“Small Chinese restaurant that no longer allows dining in so it is strictly take out now. I have been coming to this place for many years, but there has been ownership turnover. However, the food still seems to be consistently very good. My favorites are sesame chicken and spicy noodles. They have a good selection of egg rolls such as pork, chicken, etc. and they are of good quality and good taste.“

“They only do takeout, and theirs a sign inside the place that reads, because of COVID the dinning area has been closed,Np. The food was amazing!! I would never go without calling my order in. They seem to always be busy, that's because it's soooo good. Very nice portions of food, enough to last an extra day or two. I'll be back!😚“

“Ordered pretty close to closing time through uber eats without realizing and was concerned… but ended up pleasantly surprised! Everything was so fresh!! The fried rice, fried noodles, beef stir fry and egg rolls were cooked to perfection. You can tell thought and care went into each dish especially considering the circumstances. This has officially become my go-to spot.“
