“We just came from Kona Sushi in Tecumseh. Our server was excellent. Dominica helped us navigate the menu and we chose the Golden Dragon and the Red Dragon roll. They were both excellent. Lovely decor. Our meal was promptly served. Dominica also made us a pitcher of Mojitos that were also excellent. I highly recommend Kona in Tecumseh.“

“Marukin Restaurant is, without a doubt, my go-to spot in the city. This Japanese and Thai restaurant has quickly become my favorite, and for good reason. The owner does all the cooking, which ensures a consistently high level of quality and freshness in every dish. You can really taste the difference—each plate feels carefully crafted, and the ingredients are always vibrant and flavorful. The prices are also very reasonable, making it easy to indulge in excellent Japanese and Thai cuisine without breaking the bank.
Living close by, it’s tough to resist stopping in frequently, and I find myself returning more often than I can count. Over the years, I've brought countless friends here, and they all end up loving it just as much as I do. Marukin has a certain hidden gem quality, making it feel like a special discovery in Windsor. The owner is genuinely kind and clearly passionate about his work, which adds a personal touch that makes each visit memorable.
I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu—from the fresh sushi and sashimi to the flavorful Thai curries—and I’ve yet to be disappointed. The seafood is fresh, the spices in the curries are perfectly balanced, and the portions are just right. You simply can’t go wrong at Marukin. If you're in Windsor and craving Japanese or Thai, do yourself a favor and visit this wonderful spot.“

“love it for what it is! Always consistent, and I’m a big fan of their simple rolls and sashimi. Service is quick, and it’s one of my go-to spots when I’m really hungry. The price matches the all-you-can-eat experience, so it totally makes sense.
Bathrooms could be a little cleaner, always smells weird in there“

“We love this restaurant! Me and my family really enjoyed the sushi and their appetizers. We've been twice here. The owner is absolutely nice in our 1st visit before. We all had all you can eat twice when we came here. I was just a little bit disappointed in the second time visit because we asked the waitress if the ice cream has a charge since it says in their iPad the upgrade charge dessert cause on our 1st time visit it's free which we don't mind. When we asked her she said it's totally free with the all you can eat food. But at the end of our eating we have been charged for ayce upgrade for $6 something. We asked the waitress about it and she said that's the charge of our left over. I find it weird cause we only have 6 little sushi leftover. So that means we have been charge for a dollar in each sushi of leftovers. That's weird. I think the waitress is not aware that the desserts has charge and pretending that's the leftovers because in our 1st time visit we didn't got charge for our leftover little sushi we had.“
