“I was here for the first time in Canada Day, which I think made an exception for the lack of crowds here, because I am sure that on any other Sunday, this cute restaurant is always filled.
the two drinks were standard, made fresh!
the meals themselves were amazing fresh and tasty. I got the omelette with peppers, mushrooms and onions and it was so delicious. the bagel that came in the side is such a bonus, it was fresh and I got to choose the cream cheese to put on it.
my girlfriend’s lox was also just as fresh and the diy bagel had a generous portion of all ingredients.
we also shared the challah french toast because it is a must according to my gf and I will also be living by that - definitely a must, the challah makes it soft and the flavour is packed. a really good sweet side to have with a savoury bagel platter.
I will definitely be visiting what a bagel again and if I can get a seat, the restaurant space was so nice and comfortable!“

“This bagel shop serves the most exceptional bagels we've ever tasted. If timing aligns, you might witness their freshly baked creations emerging golden from the oven—still steaming with that heavenly, pure flour aroma. Equally commendable are their bread loaves: served warm and crisp, with staff gladly custom-cutting slices to your preferred thickness.
Of course, that first-bite freshness comes at a premium: prices run notably higher than bulk retailers like Costco or Walmart. Whether that’s worthwhile ultimately boils down to how you value quality versus quantity.
It's a shame so many local shops in the city overlook ambiance—this spot included. Just imagine how much more delightful visits would be if they embraced Euro-American bakery aesthetics: cozy bistro nooks, rustic wooden display cases, and hand-painted artisan signage. That inviting vibe, perfected in Asia's chic bakeries, would transform bagel runs into pure sensory escapes.“

“Great kosher food options. They only have 2 servers, imagine having full dinein, and only 2 servers, it's hard to manage. They deserve a good tip, some restaurants minimum is 18%; good thing they still have the 15%. All servers deserved it, esp their pay is below minimum. That's the only benefit they have for working so hard.“
“All I can say is OMG! I just bought their pumpkin loaf and it is incredible! So moist and tasty. I will be going back to buy another. I also bought rainbow bagels which my kids love from there and they also have these delicious bagel chips that are addictive! I love Bagel Nash!!“

“I work across the street at Movement Sports Medicine + Physiotherapy and frequent this Bagel World often. The young gentleman at the front who makes my to go sandwiches is always so pleasant and accommodating as is the young woman who works the cash and also makes food at the front. The food is fresh and the staff are excellent. I'm always happy to walk in here for a quick bite between patients!“

“There is no other bagel you need to eat in the GTA. None. Primrose continues to nail the perfect texture and taste, and their commitment to perfection is amiable. Every time I go I buy extra to share with friends and family and convert them to the Primrose way. They are always happy. This is the way.“

“My mom had to get an x-ray today and after she was finished, she decided that we both go to the Happy Bagel Bakery and it was such a delight. We both had lux and cream cheese sandwiches, along with a cherry danish and I even had a caramilk milkshake for the very first time! In addition, when we spent a certain amount of money which was something like $30.00 dollars, we were given an additional of six (6) bagels for Free! What a Great Deal! Furthermore, the food was Good too! Thank you mom for Taking us There! Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore Helene Shore Happy Bagel Bakery Customers /HPS /HS“

“Came by for a quick lunch and had the Tuna salad on a challa bun and it was delicious! Probably one of the best tuna salads Ive had in quite a while. Service was also kind and attentive. I then picked up some baked goods to go. Great place!“

“Pros: Ended up skipping Gryffes bagels to come here because they accept my credit card. Bagels were delicious and they made me and my payment choice welcome! Looks family friendly with kids booster seats. Cons: Stairs steep to bathroom so watch your step.“

“If I had to describe a Toronto bagel, it would be this.
Going into this location on a rainy September morning, I was welcomed to a soft clean bakery. The person at the desk was helpful and accomodating. I got a Loxurious on an everything bagel and man, that was perfect. It was soft, pillowy with a slight bite from the crust. Even the cream cheese was pillowy and uniform, no dried out spots or uneven spots. The veggies were crisp and added no moisture, like who needs a wet bagel??
I wish there was something dill related, for some complementary flavors but I respect what they're doing. Will definitely pick up something if I'm ever in the area.“

“I use to live around the corner from this bagel shop (20+ years ago) - and I, to this day, make a monthly drive to this location. I've been to the location in the market and the location in thornhill - this by far is the BEST location! As a former Montrealer - I'd like to think i know a thing or two about bagels. These are as authentic as the bagels in Montreal - I will go so far as to say even better.
This location specifically is consistent in their quality, service and assortment of goodies. I've purchased both fresh and day old bagels (usually on sale - buy 6, get six free) - they freeze very well.
Their pre- made egg/tuna little tea sandwiches are the bomb! Their flavoured cream cheese (dill or chive) are also amazing! The service is always courteous and prompt. Parking is a little bit of a challenge- but I can usually find a spot on one of the neighboring side streets for free.
So worth the monthly drive from Vaughan!“

“I went today, owner was so nice. She let me try some items, so yummy. I will be making trips often. I bought ravioli, gnocchi, pizza crust, focaccia, bagels and flour so I can make my own French crepes and custard this weekend. Pierangela the owner was so interested in what needs I had regarding being gf and explained how to prepare all the items I bought in detail. I highly recommend making a trip to Nate’s, you won’t be disappointed.“

“If you haven't had Bubby's New York Bagels, you're missing out!! Must try Bagel Shop! My favourite spot in Toronto for fresh bagels and breakfast pastries. I don't know how they make the bagels as good as they do, but I love them for doing it! The cinnamon buns are so massive and delicious its incredible. I recenlty did a breakfast catering order and people were literally running to the table becasue of how good the pastries looked! And then they ran back twice as fast when they tasted how good they were! Can't wait to order again!“

“Went to bakery, not the restaurant. Bagels are always good but everything is very crammed. They don't label their breads so it's a guessing game. It was busy when we were there and there is only one check out. None of this is the staff's fault.“
