“Saray is bright, colourful and fun. The food was unreal and super affordable. We’re glad we held off on ordering mains - 4 starter dips and 1 salad was MORE than enough for the 3 of us. I could live off of the cheese & feta rolls. Planning on taking my boys soon so they can try all the meat skewers while I eat all the appetizers. “Just amazing! 2 weeks in a row I’ve had the chicken doner wrap. It is BIG! So juice and tasty with all the chicken and I’m not one for salad but it tastes so fresh. My new weekly take out for sure. This is a little gem of a place.“

“We haven't tasted such delicious raw meatballs in a long time. We had an excellent time with our group of friends at Mahmood Çiğ köfte. Mr. Mahmood is very polite and kind. We also thank you for the free tea service. We will come again as soon as possible. I recommend it to everyone.“

“Authentic and incredibly delicious Turkish cuisine — the meal includes appetizers (delicious spreads with homemade bread) and tea at the end (perfect digestive). The skewers were the most delicious I've had in Toronto, and the Alinazik was also mouthwatering (a combination of lamb and baba ghanoush). The service was beyond friendly, and there are nice sitting spaces outside, great on a summer evening! I definitely recommend this place, and I will be back again.“

“Iskender was bad. Spices used were different than used in the real Turkish döner. Lahmacun was broken into pieces and cold. No lemon, parsley and onions were delivered with lahmacun.I ordered from this restaurant again and this time food was great. I realized that actually the delivery was bad. In my opinion, the place to go is Sofra Istanbul. If you are near Steeles Ave and Hwy 400, this restaurant is very well priced, fresh, tasty, has a wide variety and great service too!!!
It’s a middle eastern food emporium.

“I was in the area, driving around super hungry, approaching closing hour for many places and I really didn't want A&W/McD/Popeyes etc. Saw the word Shawarma looked open and yay pulled in here...but they were at end of the day and nothing on the spit. What's a girl who knows virtually nothing about Turkish food options, and without reading glasses to see the menu well, to do? The nice people made me something and off I went with my little hot package, still not quite totally knowing what I had in store. So....yum hello a fluffy and crispy baked flatbread with edges folded over, nicely spiced beef, some cheese...ahah! I just gobbled it down. And now I know what Pide is! And even better have another good place to go when around Downsview.“

“The food was great and authentic. It was different from what I'd tried before. Also, the cook was really nice. I ordered Baghali polo with Lamb Shank and my gf ordered Fesenjoon and Saffron Rice. AT ALL COSTS. so here i am, on a monday morning, visiting the square one mall. after getting a starbucks coffee, i passed next to the MADO bakery who seemed inviting, deciding to get some pastries to try. out of the 30 tables here, only 2 are occupied by patrons at 11:00am. so i order three baklava, for 5$ a piece (really expensive but ok) and take a seat. After 30 seconds an employee ask me (politely) to leave the place, because "outside drinks are not allowed". on a monday morning, on an empty restaurant, i got kicked out for wanting to try their pastries. so now, there i am, eating on a public bench, 20$ worth of "luxury" pastries. worst service ever, overhyped but empty place. oh, and the baklava were bland, and tasteless. it looked like i was eating a handful of sand. but hey, at least my starbuck coffee was good. AVOID. AT. ALL. COSTS.“

“I am Korean Canadian with a pretty normal palate for food. I have become a regular here for the breads and pastry. In particular I love their personal sized pizzas and a tubular pastry that has feta and spinach Burek I think, I forget the name but absolutely the most crispy flaky and delicious breakfast I can have. Seems (pronounce Shems) is the gentlman usually behind the counter who is just the kindest man. They also have raw honey which my kids loved and I just tried the cherry drink. Good stuff especially for my gout. I am a customer for life~“

One star deducted cause the Traditional Turkish breakfast is served with bread which was not enough for our order. ordering extra bread comes with an extra charge which i think is unfair.“

“If you're looking for quality and quantity when it comes to Chaplee kebab then you must visit this outlet. They serve authentic Pakistani style chaplee kebab in huge portions. The lady at the reception is so friendly and her suggestions won't disappoint you. However their biryani is as great as an authentic Karachi biryani, but okay. Portion size for most of their dishes is great. Pricing is a bit on the higher side. Ambience is family friendly.“

Sana came to the rescue, and provided the space, excellent attentive service, and even better TurcoPersian apps to start off our brunch.Truly, all the food was excellent, and we were able to send off our newlyweds in style from this lovely eatery. And the food got the seal of approval from the many Persian guests we were hosting! So do consider this restaurant for group parties, in addition to small table dining. “A friend took me here for the first time and it was amazing!! The food was great! It was my first time having this type of food and the man was very kind and explained everything to me 5/5 for service! Then when we ordered, the portions were huge!!! I got the meat combo plate and my buddy got the wrap, both tasted fantastic. The price point to quantity/ quality is huge! I would 100% go back there anytime and I would also 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to try it out! Amazing!
