I occasionally order the blackened branzino to go and through various delivery apps when I’m too lazy to cook at home. Avant Gout has some great picks especially when you’re not sure what you’re in the mood for. The branzino is cooked to perfection, nice sauce on the base, roasted potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Over the past 5 years we rarely go out but when my husband asked where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner, Avant Gout was my first choice. We originally ordered delivery during the pandemic but as restaurants started opening up again, this was a restaurant I wanted to go to. A French Bistro that offers lamb, steak, Artic char and other mains. An exceptionally warm atmosphere. Have dined here on many occasions - consistently good experience.

Avant Gout is a highly recommended restaurant that offers an outstanding dining experience. The food is described as succulent, with the ability to accommodate allergies. The service is excellent and kind, and the atmosphere is classy. While the small size of the restaurant can be an issue, it provides good value and an interesting menu with a great wine list.
