We always love going to the Windsor Arms. The atmosphere was lovely and noise level low which allowed us to enjoy a conversation. The Summerlicious menu had a nice variety of options and was quite tasty. The server was great! He was very personable and attentive to each of the tables; which only added to the overall experience.
My husband and I came here for a Summerlicious lunch. We have not been here before, so we were looking forward to it. From the front desk staff to our waiter, the service was great- they welcomed us warmly and made us feel like special guests. The food was good- some dishes were not our favourite (as the flavour was bland), overall, each dish was made fresh with care with a creative spin (which we enjoyed!). We arrived before 6 p .m. and had the place to ourselves. The music was a little loud given we were sitting by a speaker. The food was excellent—Caesar salad, calamari, steak (the gravy was delicious) and desserts. Then the band, which was to start at 8, came in, and their tuning up was very loud/annoying. Especially the guitar and snare drum. People who were arriving asked to be seated in the far room. For some unexplained reason, the piped-in music was turned up (about 7:30)....read full review
