Yianni's Kitchen in trendy and historical St. Lawrence Market is serving up some of the best homemade food that is both delicious and scrumptious!

If you're looking for a break from all that shopping then Yianni's Kitchen is a must.

Everything is cooked up fresh.

My good to favorite:

The potatoes that's swimming in that delicious juices with all those tasty herbs.

The beans so rich and buttery in that tangy tomato sauce.

The sausage delicious.

Whatever you pick to eat know that everything on the menu is completely delicious.

And the portions are huge! So if you come by for lunch don't worry about dinner because you'll finish the rest later on that day!

Also excellent customer service with a family oriented vibe.

“We came here to catch up with a friend, and brought my wife and our toddler along for dinner. Overall, it was a lovely experience, though our toddler’s energy meant we had to take turns stepping outside with him!

The food was fantastic and came out quickly. For appetizers, we ordered Greek fries, kalamarakia, and the saganaki Opa!—which was a fun show with the little flame. All of the appetizers were flavorful and satisfying.

For my main, I went with the roast lamb, which came with roasted potatoes, vegetables, and a Greek salad. The lamb was tender and packed with flavor, though I would have liked the potatoes to have been a bit crispier on the outside. The veggie portion felt a little light, especially for a $35 plate, but the Greek salad on the side helped balance it out.

Overall, it was a great meal, and we definitely enjoyed the flavors and atmosphere. Highly recommend for a laid-back, flavorful Greek dinner on the Danforth!“

Super fresh, tasty, homemade, tons of options. Their sauce is really good too. The lady who runs this place with her husband is incredibly hardworking and kind. “Authentic and absolutely delicious local Greek place. Real Greek Gyros is a hidden gem in Riverdale. I would walk by many times and never actually tried before. My Greek friend who is from Athens recommended it to me, and now I completely understand why. I had the pork gyros btw pronounced as gee-ros, not jai-ros , and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in doing it the authentic Greek way. Also learned that gyros means rotating grill.

The portion was huge definitely come hungry, and everything tasted so fresh from the warm pita to the crisp potatoes. It felt like a little taste of Greece right here at home.

If you love Greek food or just want a really satisfying meal, Real Greek Gyros is 100% worth checking out. I’m already planning to go back and try the beef or chicken next time.“

I got their hot sauce on the side and it wasn't spicy or flavourful. Overall would recommend and come back.Note the line does get pretty busy around lunch hour.“
