“Would definitely go again, ingredients were fresh and well portioned between all the toppings. The size was perfect for lunch and at a great value. There weren’t any “filler” toppings, and the flavors was great. ( I asked for a recommendation and got the “it’s lit” bowl. Just spicy enough for me!) Staff was friendly and efficient. Quite happy with my first visit and looking forward to trying all types of combinations in the future.“

Despite its cozy size, the ambiance was serene and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. We had their Hawaiian BBQ bowl and Garlic Shrimp Scampi from their hot food section, accompanied by their refreshing Pineapple Coconut Iced Tea. The Garlic Shrimp Scampi stood out with its crunchy texture and flavorful taste, while the Hawaiian BBQ bowl offered a satisfying blend of savory and sweet flavors. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left feeling fully satisfied. One aspect that truly elevated our experience was the attentive and friendly service provided by the staff. Hoki Poke Takeout • $$
463 Queen St W, Toronto

“Get a Taste of Hawaii in Toronto! Hoki Poke is serving up poke and rice bowls, and I got the Scampi bowl. Comes with garlic butter shrimp , lettuce, green onion and red cabbage on a bed of purple rice. The garlic shrimp were so buttery and definitely smothered in sauteed garlic! I hate using my fingers when I eat so I LOVED how easy they were to peel! The bowl was pretty filling too since it came with rice. This bowl is exclusive to their Queen Street location, which shares a location with a Korean fried chicken chain. There is a bit of seating? Probably around 5 tables. Their menu varies with location so make sure to check which spot has what you want before visiting!“

“Really great poke! You can build your own or buy one of their signatures. I love that they have an option for rice + greens and brown rice + greens. Depending on what you get, they scorch the salmon and rice and it’s super amazing! Will definately be visiting again.“
