Typical Jamaican restaurant menu with a few unique items and custom drinks. The food was average tasting and well presented. I was educated about the history and how the restaurant was established which was enjoyable. I recently visited Gerry's Fine Foods, and I have to say, their Jamaican patties are absolutely incredible. The crust is a true standout – light, flaky, and wonderfully buttery, providing the perfect contrast to the flavorful filling. And speaking of the filling, it hits all the right notes with just the right amount of spice, delivering that authentic kick without being overpowering.

My only minor critique, when comparing them to some other local spots, is that the filling does feel a bit less in quantity. However, this is easily overlooked when you consider the overall quality.

What truly surprised me was that I had just returned from a trip to Jamaica, and honestly, Gerry's patties were so much better! Go figure! They truly nail the flavor profile and texture.
