“Orlando’ restaurant is a great place if you are looking for authentic, top quality Jamaican cuisine. So far i have been there twice, first time had the oxtail and this time the curry goat. Both times were excellent!!! Today had the added bonus of meeting both Mr. and Mrs Orlando and let me say they are a delight, not only because the make great food but we had a very enjoyable conversation. This is a definite must try!!! You wont be disappointed !!!“

“Food here was AMAZING! Due to covid this was an Uber Eats order but you would never know it was delivery. The food was hot and fresh! The jerk chicken was moist and full of flavor. You could taste the spices from the skin down to the meat. Bone included! The plantains were soft, sweet, juicy and when you bit into it, the flavor just exploded in your mouth! If you’re in the Vaughn area of Toronto I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping by if you’re craving Caribbean food!“

Typical Jamaican restaurant menu with a few unique items and custom drinks. The food was average tasting and well presented. I was educated about the history and how the restaurant was established which was enjoyable. “Sometimes the food is okay but it's a hit or miss. Recently bought a curried goat & Rice dinner Recently, it had too much gravey and the meat seemed as if they scraped the bottom of the pot. Sometimes the food is very salty and customer experience needs to be improved. Being courteous and pleasant goes a long way.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Peppers Caribbean Restaurant near Islington and Steeles, and it was an incredible experience! I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and coleslaw,(food looked so good, started eating before snapping a pic) and it was absolutely amazing. The oxtail was tender, the rice and peas were perfectly cooked, and the portion was large enough for two! The chef clearly knows what they're doing—everything was cooked to perfection. The ladies at the counter were so sweet and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. “I just happened to pop over this afternoon for a last-minute pick up and I was not disappointed! This hidden gem is tucked away in the North Park Plaza at the corner of Keele & Lawrence, take out and catering only, great choice of items available, tons of parking at the store front for your convenience, a huge bonus was the fact that the customer service is just as good as the food. I have never seen persons so calm and cheerful at work during a lunch rush - Even the customers inside had good customer service, haha! I look forward to my next visit and trying the fried chicken.
