The Greenwood is a lovely cafe in Leslieville with a wonderful community feel. It provides a cool, cozy vibe and the best atmosphere for studying or hanging out, with plenty of seating in both the front and back of the café and beautiful artwork on the walls. The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable, engaging with customers in a meaningful way and fostering a warm community. The coffee, which uses Pilot beans, is amazing and delicious, with a perfectly dialed-in espresso recipe. Their matcha is also good, with options like a butterfly pea matcha latte that is delicious and healthy. The treats are so good, including pastries like a pesto mozzarella pastry, quiche, and soup, which make for a perfect lunch. Prices are VERY reasonable. The space also hosts events and receives positive reviews for its atmosphere, food, drinks, and service. It is a fantastic find and a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood.
