“The lady at the counter was so nice!

I went in to pickup some sugar cookies for my toddlers play date - however the lady made a better recommendation and I couldn’t have been happier.

My toddler was so fascinated with everything in the store- she offered him an Oreo cookie to distract him while I was able to make my selection.

The cookies were amazing and such a hit with all the kids. I would definitely recommend and I look forward to my next visit.“

“My family really enjoyed the cake from Vava. The decoration was perfect, exactly like the picture and even more impressive in appearance in person.

Cake flavour is good - taro mochi, lovely flavoured mochi bits, light chiffon cake.

“They honestly make the best cakes and cupcakes. I got their strawberry Chiffon Cake and it was light, moist and the right amount of sweetness. Their mini chiffon flavours are amazing if you don't want to commit to 1 flavour. Staff is super nice and accommodating a short notice request. I would like to try their custom cakes in the future.“

“Got the Mango and Cheese bingsu. If you want something refreshing definitely get the fruit options. If you want something sweetwr injeolmi and cheese flavors are good. They also add a lot of toppings which is a plus. Cafe is a bit small but nice.“

“We ordered sandwiches, chaat, and a waffle – and every single item tasted amazing! The food was perfectly crafted – not oily, not overloaded with cheese or butter, and definitely not dry. Everything was fresh, which is such a rare find these days.

Dhariya served us, and his service and behavior were outstanding. He’s an excellent chef, running the show single-handedly, and it really shows in the quality of food. And yes, the portion sizes are huge! Highly recommended.“

“Came here with a friend and we ordered the large size jumbo ube milk shaved ice with taro paste on the side. When we got the ube shaved ice, it was huge. We couldn't even finish it.

All the toppings tasted great and they dont skimp on the toppings at all. I really loved the Ube paste, taro rice balls, almond pudding, and the taro paste.

For about $20 it is definitely worth coming here to satisfy your sweet tooth. This could easily feed 2-3 people. My one minor complaint would be that the shaved ice is not uniformed and there are some big chunks. Chewing on it got tiring and numbing at the end. I do wish they had the korean styled shaved ice where its almost like soft snow texture.“

“I would like to recommend Victoria K Cakes to anyone looking for theme cakes for a celebration! My family has been ordering cakes from them for the last 5 years and they are always gorgeous. I have included a picture for my daughter’s 21st birthday party and it was a big hit! We chose strawberry shortcake filling and it was delicious. 😋“

“Cute little Vietnamese dessert shop offering a wide variety of sweet and savory snacks.
They have fresh ice cream, Vietnamese yogurt - which is absolutely delicious and creamy - the black rice one is my absolutely favourite!
A small selection of pastries and street food style snacks as well. This was my first time here and I grabbed a bit of everything.
The girl serving me (pink hair) was so sweet and friendly. Will definitely come back here to stock up on my Vietnamese snack cravings.

“This is located in the back of the downsview merchants market alongside other restaurants. They always have a fantastic variety of cakes, cheesecakes, and cookie brownies that they bake fresh during the day. They also have 8 different flavours of ice cream at any given time and a slushy machine.
Service is always exceptional and they are happy to explain everything they have in their cases.
In addition to the enormous variety of baked goods, they also offer funnel cakes, waffles, bubble waffles, and crepes.
You can tell the bakers are very passionate about what they make. The portions are huge (cakes barely fit into their containers) and prices are great.
I have tried most of their offerings (they're always trying new recipes) and have enjoyed them all.
Unfortunately this location is only open on weekends but on weekdays you can find them in Caledon.“

“Gianfranco is an awesome person and chef, took the time explaining the whole process to me over the phone and told me this was authentic Italian Tiramisu unlike the modified version who cheap out on ingredients. Tasted amazing, mine was fresh so cutting it was hard to get a perfect slice for pictures ? if you want a quality Tiramisu give Nonna's House Tiramisu a try. I went for the classic, can't go wrong with that choice!Update:After putting it in the freezer it's much easier to cut it the next day and it holds up very nicely.“

Had great service from the female owner (I think it’s the owner) was great, she was friendly and provided recommendations. “Very underrated spot IMO - takeout only, but their 2 for $12 deal is pretty unbeatable in this region and I like the use of fresh fruit in their drinks. The design on the drinks is pretty cute as well. I'd recommend this over classic staples in the area“

“AMAZING. 10 STAR! Service from the gentleman working tonight (6/23/24) I was experiencing an issue ordering through UberEats because it said delivery is unavailable.

I then proceeded to call their customer support line and an amazing lady from the USA order placing line answered the phone and transferred me straight to the store where I spoke to the guy.

Mentioned the issues to him, and he was polite enough to help me with my issue by recommending I download DoorDash. (Because DoorDash covered a longer distance from the store)

Without him I would’ve never known this workaround - and I would’ve been forced to drive 30 minutes to the store on a one way from my evening on the couch relaxing.

Now awaiting for the cookies to arrive, will update with pictures!
