“I don’t ever really write reviews on restaurants unless they are consistent with their food quality and standards. So with that being said, this is the third time I’ve ordered with Timmy’s and I definitely need to acknowledge this place. My husband and I order the same thing every time (we don’t really like change lol) and every single time with the two kebabs and rice it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. They don’t miss. The food that comes out of their kitchen is obviously made with love and care because they never let a bad plate go out. I’m not big on rice. At all. But this rice, I can eat all day, every day. They put a type of red sauce on it and a white sauce too. But it’s not what you think. It’s not the typical shawarma red and white sauce you get when you order a wrap or a plate. It’s savoury red sauce with tomatos and a little bit of kick. The white sauce seems yogurt based and it pairs absolutely perfect with the rice. And the rice, isn’t your typical white rice. It seems marinated in a way that is exploding with flavour just on its own. And don’t even get me started on the kebabs!!!! They’re juicy and big and packed full of flavour. And they give you two massive kebabs! TWO! This meal is not only filling but absolutely delicious and I’ve been addicted to Timmy’s Tanur since the moment I tried it the first time. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, using Uber eats or door dash, this restaurant will NEVER disappoint. They even throw in a delicious pita to make sure you’re full! Absolutely wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!!“

“Amazingly fast and friendly service. You think you're popping in for a quick bite but in that 2 minute encounter, a smile gets stuck on your face. And then you get to eat yummy food.

“We live in Ottawa, and a group of four of us was really hungry, so we decided to eat shawarma. The staff was very nice and prepared the shawarma for us. We loved it! We ordered one chicken shawarma and one falafel, and both were amazing, but the falafel was particularly delicious. Thank you! Whenever we come back to Hamilton, we will definitely return to enjoy it again.“

“The lady working tonight provided excellent customer service and gave us great service overall. The quality and quantity of the chicken are exactly what you pay for. Unlike the Lazeez in Guelph Line, which made us never want to go to Lazeez again because the quantity and quality of the chicken, sauce, and food were horrible, this location was the complete opposite. We decided to try this location as a last attempt before giving up on the Lazeez chain altogether. “We recently ordered Poppi’s for pickup because they had a great March break special. I hadn’t heard of this place before but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The pizza was ready fast and was very good, hot and fresh. The price matched the amount of food we purchased and did not seem overly inflated like a lot of pizza places. The drink selection was unmatched and definitely the star of the show! My only downside was the garlic sauce could be a little more garlicky but that’s just personal preference. We will definitely be ordering from them again in the near future“

While the beef was incredibly tender, it lacked the seasoning and flavor I was expecting. I also noticed the hot sauce tasted different than I remembered. On the plus side, the service was excellent—super fast and friendly. The shop was empty at the time and looked very clean“

“Tried Jimmy the Greek in Hamilton and overall it was a solid experience. The portion size is generous, making it a great value around the $20 mark. It’s a great choice when you want something filling but not greasy. The meal felt fresh and satisfying.

A couple of downsides: the potatoes were a bit too mushy and oily, and the olives still had pits — which I understand is more authentic, but it’s not ideal when you’re not expecting it and have to spit them out mid-bite.
