“Beautiful family restaurant that honestly came as a surprise. I was not expecting much, but the chobap was amazing and they had halal chicken. I would definitely recommend everybody come here. And try this little gem. It's a nice family owned restaurant.
We tried the mango tango in the orange dragon.Both were fantastic.Also, they have some other korea dishes that our must drive.We'll probably be back to come and try them all“

“Staff was very friendly and efficient. They answered my inquiry of Mirin usage (they don't use it) over the phone kindly and with knowledge of their own product. Atmosphere was the best I've ever had a sushi restaurant. There was a nice 2 seater for my wife and I with a privacy screen. Loved it! Also they have popular anime figurines in the shop lol.“

“Visited on August 8th and had a really great experience overall!
The food was amazing — everything was fresh and delicious. We did have a bit of an issue where our order took quite a long time, but the staff handled it so well. They were kind enough to let us take the food home without charging us, which we really appreciated, especially for an all-you-can-eat place.
A special shoutout to JC or Jassy, our waiter — he was incredible. So kind, generous, and genuinely attentive. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us through everything, which made the experience even better.
Despite the delay, the way everything was handled and the quality of service really stood out. Would definitely come back!“

“Amazing food, exceptionally caring and attentive staff. The people here go out of there way to make sure customers are happy, comfortable and taken care of. Tonight I ordered through uber eats and accidently canceled the order, UE. Charged a 95% cancelation fee to my CC without telling me.. when I noticed the charge on my card, I spoke to Uber eats who refused to refund the "cancelation fee", and would not place a reorder without me paying again (double charge) for the original order. I ended up driving to the restaurant and told them of the situation and they made sure I was taken care of. They fufulied my order without knowing if UE would give them the money they are owed. I absolutely recommend this place and have ordered from them many times, every single time the food is incredible. If you're looking for a nice night out, or take out food, you can't go wrong with August 8 Burlington!“

“We went for Valentines Day, and the food was fresh and delicious. Our server, Kelvin, went above and beyond despite how busy it was in the restaurant. There were a few hiccups with the iPad and kitchen service that he attended to and smoothed over quickly. We had a wonderful evening, thank you Kelvin!“
“My spouse picked up lunch for me today, the Special Combo Veggie Set. The miso soup was perfect, seaweed salad was delicious as well. The combination of bean curd sushi, yam tempura roll, and kamakachi avocado roll was incredible. I loved everything and I am looking forward to visiting soon! I am glad I live nearby, I can stop in easily. Delicious meal, very fresh, and made with love. I am happy!“

“Discovered this place by accident by trying to find a bathroom on the highway. Was greeted with a warm welcome and throughout the whole time ordering, the staff were so polite and kind. The salmon poke bowl was presented very well which was impressive and tasted really delicious. They clearly took their time and required skill and precision, this place isn’t just some quick stop for food. Fast food speed service with restaurant quality food! Will certainly stop by here again when passing by! They threw in some Asian candy with our order as well which was well appreciated!“

“Amazing! This was my family and I’s first time trying Pokebowl’s and I must say I was impressed!! The place was very clean and the Pokebowl’s were fresh and unbelievably tasty. “I honestly love this spot. There’s this Asian lady who was absolutely kind to me. For I never had sushi Before and she helped me to pick the boat one. She made it delicious honestly heaven on earth it’s sooooo delicious. I dream about going every month when I have the money to get sushi. She made it super fresh and yummy and delicious. I’m team sushi. She needs a raise. She deserves it. Oh and the green stuff is not guacamole it’s wasabi lol“

“The sushi here is absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh. The rice is cooked properly and the portions are good for the price. These rolls are quite big (above average) and lots of variety to choose from. Note this a takeout location only with no dining in. A great spot if you’re in the mood and looking to try something new. We’ve been multiple times now and they have been consistent. Enjoy“
