“This place is my all time favorite hidden gem in the city. Quiet and rarely busy. The food is always great. My kids and I are all vegetarian and find there are many options for us to choose from. The prices are also wonderful and so are the serving sizes, we always have food left over to bring home.
The only down fall is there's no parking. But there is a cheap parking garage near by.“

“I had a great experience at Thai Express in Windsor. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, and it was perfectly balanced, sweet, tangy, and spicy just the way I like it. The portion size was generous for the price.
The staff were friendly and quick, and my order was ready in no time. The place was clean and well-maintained.
Highly recommend if you're craving Thai food.🤞“

“We tried a couple different dishes this time. Hubby loved the Tom Yum Soup and I would definitely order the Cashew Nuts with Chicken again“

“The food and protein had so much flavor and tasted really good. I also liked the chili oil and chili pepper I had on the side, both enhanced the flavors from the food. The portion sizes are also really good. If you have no idea what to try for the first time, get the Thai fried rice with pork and beef.“

“A neighbourhood hidden gem that took me years to try. I'm often in the plaza and tell myself to try it out sometime just never have. Our meal was delicious, sushi was fresh, service was great and price was even better. Prices are easily a couple dollars less than competitors in the area. Next time we go I will have to hit up the Thai menu. Don't sleep on this place like I did! Give Marukin a try it won't disappoint!“

“It was our first time trying out this restaurant and to start, the restaurant itself was quite cleanly. There were a variety of menu items ranging from Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese cuisine.
The waitress helped take our order at the front before we sat down. We chose to get the drunken noodles with chicken and the honey garlic chicken. We did not have to wait long before our food arrived. The food was piping hot indicating it had been cooked fresh and was very well seasoned. The prices were reasonable as well considering their portion sizes. Overall, I would recommend checking out this restaurant if you are in the area.“

“Great place to eat. Easy to order on iPad and food comes at reasonable speed. Lots of options and everything tasted good. It is definitely a busy spot, may have to wait a bit. Can be a bit loud as there are a lot of people in there. Still, it's a solid place and the food is delicious.“

“Last night we made a pilgrimage to Detroit for one reason only, to visit TAKOI. We had the 6 course chef’s choice menu (plus another few courses on the house). I had very high expectations, but the staff and food managed to exceed them. If anyone is ever in downtown Detroit. You MUST try Takoi!🍜🍲“

“Excellent service on a Friday night. The pad Thai with shrimp was so delicious. Got the medium spice level and ended up asking for chili flakes on the side and that was a perfect choice. Would do the same thing again! Though, I really like spice :) Really enjoyed the meal here! Spring rolls were very good. Reasonable prices as well!“

“I ordered the chicken and shrimp dumplings which were kind of small but pretty good. Also the drunken noodles which were bomb. My boyfriend ordered the chive pancakes, super tasty. Also the curry rice with tofu. It was so so good. Totally will be coming back!“

“Incredible food at a very reasonable Price. Tasted and looked very authentic. \n\nBe careful with the spicyness. Even the medium plates are very spicy so i dont imagine what thé hot ones are. But everything was tasteful and great.\n\nHow server, might be the owner, was very nice and sweet.\n\nHowever, for canadians especially, be aware that they serve American portions hehehe. Impossible to finish a dinner including appetizer and dinner. \n\nWould definitively recommand.“

“First time visit to Detroit Shipping Co. and wanted to try a bit of everything. Bangkok 96 Street Food was definitely a highlight! My boyfriend got a Tikka Masala from the spot next door but he loved my grilled chicken so much we got a candied beef and some crab ragon to go. Genevieve, the owner, was the absolute sweetest. We really felt like family and can taste the love put into the food. We cant wait to return and try everything else! * BEST CRAB RAGON I'VE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE *“
