“This place is a little gem. The atmosphere is fun but relaxed (if that makes sense). The service is friendly, but not in your face. The food has your typical no-nonsense bar staples. Some items are better than others, but generally, it's good. If you want to stay and play board games, chat, and/or watch a game, this is your place.

Vegetarian options: Their Greek salad was bomb. Big too, enough to share.

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

“I've never actually been there on a busy night especially to try their seafood Monday nights. The atmosphere surprises me because the first time entering you would not think that they serve island dish and the misic is comforting. I do enjoy going there.“

“My first time there was 02/03/24. Nice place and definitely an adult crowd. A big shout to the DJ/Selector "Roots Fire Sound" Donson, who was fantastic. He had the vibes on lock with good music and shout-outs to the birthday people about five that night. The owner of the lounge, Sugar bird, took over from the DJ/Selector about 2 hours before closing, and why? He shut the vibes down. He needs to let the professional do the job from start to finish. There is also jerk chicken, chicken wings, soup, and other food, which I won't comment on because I didn't eat anything. There is also a $10 charge at the door.“

Excellent and fast service as well, atmosphere is ok, can't help getting the ocassional sketchy crowds from the bars next door but nothing too bad. This is and will continue to be our go-to spot on Friday nights after hockey games for our family. Keep it up guys. Great job!“

“The manager of the location in Bolton has her own personal agenda. I witnessed her using exstream profanity to a customer that had upset her wail children were in the dining room with there parents. Among other completely unprofessional behaviors. Strongly recommend another location. I must say the other girls that work there are absolutely amazing.“

“Our first time going to Turtle Jacks, overall it was very good. Lots of seating, I guess because it’s Sunday it wasn’t busy so our service was fast. We tried an amazing chicken roll appetizer. My wife had the salmon was good and my grilled cheese braised beef sandwich was a little heavy with the arugula but was good.

“It’s a dive bar and a great place to have a couple of drinks . $5 beers: don’t expect to eat here. Great patio and chill, relaxed environment. Local bar and definitely has a charm. I stop by whenever in the neighborhood. Friendly people once they realize you’re not a cop. Be respectful and you won’t have a problem. Mr. Lee is amazing.“
