“This restaurant has been on my mind since they opened. I drive by this unique establishment 5 days a week on my way to work. I finally ordered pizza to go today, and I wish I had decided to dine in. There is adequate outdoor seating but the indoor space is fabulous! Had I known, rather than call ahead I should have dropped in, ordered a cocktail while waiting for my food to be prepared, enjoying the ambience. The pizza is fabulous! Perfect crust and filling ratio is perfect. Leave room for the fabulous desserts. Looking forward to going back, but this time will dine in.”

“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.”

“My partner and I went here with a large group of friends a few weeks ago and when I tell you this place is amazing!!!! Literally. So good. Me and my partner go out for sushi quite frequently and are very picky. I was apprehensive about a new place. With sushi I try to stay as close to 5 ⭐️ as possible. (Raw fish and all) and when my friend said no it’s wonderful I trusted her. AND THANK GOD I DID. HOW DOES THIS PLACE ONLY HAVE a 4.2!?!!!? The service was incredible. The fish was like Buddahh melted in my mouth. The level of quality was amazing. I had a tempura roll that I had left overs of. I usually keep my sushi leftovers and try it and throw them away because it’s never as good. When I tell you the next day at lunch it was still crispy!!!!??? 10/10 we will be back. ALSO incredible service. So kind. So attentive. So sweet. Love. Recommend. Go now!!!”

“Gusto is this hidden gem in Newberg that I just want to tell everyone about! The staff here are incredibly friendly and the food here is always always *chef's kiss*. All of their food is made in house...breads, pastas, gelato etc - they even have the flours for sale! If you are looking for casual Italian food, this place will not disappoint - every dollar spent here is worth it!

“I was so excited when BubbleBear opened, I think it’s such a fantastic addition to Newberg. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. The waffles are so delicious and toppings are top notch and so fresh! Every item I’ve tried has been a massive hit, I’m constantly talking about them and the new waffles I’ve tried to all of my coworkers (and pretty much anyone that will listen!). I love boba as well and every drink from BubbleBear is perfect through and through. 100000/10 recommend!!!”

“We had an absolute blast visiting Patricia Green Cellars! We were a group of four women who range in wine education and interest. I booked PGC because I'd heard that they'd have the best range of Pinot Noirs (Oregon's most famous grape) for the newbies in our group. We arrived at 3pm on the Friday of a long weekend. It was quiet when we arrived, but we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming vibes. We were sat at a large table indoors, from which we enjoyed great 180 degree views. Yes, even from inside! Bottled water and a cheese plate were already laid out upon our arrival. Abigail was our server and wine educator. She was absolutely fantastic - amiable, humorous, and knowledgeable. She provided us THE BEST Oregon Wine 101 class and served a range of Pinots, allowing us to really understand the vastness of the Pinot grape. Moreover, she was just the best intro to the area. She gave us great recommendations on food, bars, and other wineries we might want to consider (while also telling us we'd planned well, lol).

We'd recommend PCG as a great place to start any Willamette Valley wine weekend!”

“Long Brewing has some of the best quality beers. Made in small batches, they are elegant, classic brews that don't club you over the head with hops or malts. The subtle flavors are very balanced and satisfying. If you appreciate well-made beers, these are beers you can sip and each taste is better than the previous sip.The brewmaster and owner, Paul, is a super nice and smart guy who knows what he is doing.”

They have an absolute ton of food options, they buy from local farmers, they are actively trying to reduce waste as much as possible, there's even a subcommittee in student government devoted to improving services there. Sure, it's not really perfect, but for a cafeteria serving thousands of students, it is by far the best I've ever seen or heard off. Did I mention they are still finding ways to improve?”
