“A family owned & operated establishment. We ordered Thai Yellow Curry, Orange Chicken, Lemongrass Chili Chicken, and Pineapple Fried Rice. We loved everything except the Pineapple Fried Rice. It was heavily oiled, lacking the sweetness, flavor & depth we had experienced from eating the other dishes. However, the food & service are good enough for us to certainly visit again.“

“I have had a lot of pho throughout my life and I can honestly say this is probably some of the tastiest and yummiest pho I have ever had! The staff here is absolutely fantastic and so kind and attentive you won't have to worry about grabbing their attention because the kitchen is in open view which makes for a fun and romantic ambiance! This place is one of my new go to restaurants and I will absolutely be recommending this place to all my friends! The price and serving size is absolutely perfect although I wish they added a bit more meat it is still plenty where I'm full for the rest of the day! In summary I absolutely love this place!“

Kid-friendliness: My daughter was with me (9 years old at the time) and loved it.

Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn't have an automatic door that I noticed, but it is on the first floor and the door is wide enough to handle a wheelchair. The counter and several tables are lower to the ground, so the whole thing overall is pretty accessible as long the person in the wheelchair can handle opening the door.“

Atmosphere is humble, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to be at a place like this that is cozy and comfortable on a Thursday afternoon. Oh yeah one thing to note that the service is very slow.

“It has been a long time since I’ve gone to a teriyaki restaurant because my wife has resisted it. Our friends wanted to go here and, I was excited, and my wife agreed. We both had the chicken teriyaki lunch special, which come with chicken teriyaki on a bed of white rice, a side of either sweet and sour chicken or three pot stickers, and a small side salad with a house dressing. I just assumed the sweet and sour chicken was what I receive in a Chinese restaurant. Boy was I wrong! It was like way over cooked fried chicken. It was so hard that it was difficult to eat and there was absolutely no sweet or sour flavor. My wife said the pot stickers were soft but did not taste very good. Fortunately, the teriyaki chicken was very good and adding the sauce to the rice made the rice very good. The house sauce on the salad was very good. The lunch special came with a soft drink and the entire lunch was $13.50. The lady behind the counter was very nice but speaks Japanese and very little English. I tried to tell her the chicken was almost inedible but she had no idea what I was saying. We do not live in Portland so there is almost no chance we will eat there again but I would recommend the chicken teriyaki with fried rice, which our friends had and they said it was very good.“

“We have been going to PF Chang’s for at least 30 years and this visit to the Hillsboro location was by far the best experience we have ever had. Abel was an amazing person and server, by the time we left we felt like we have known him forever. The new manager has definitely taken steps towards perfection! “The food is delicious. We had the salmon bento and the short rib bento and both were delicious. The bento consists of two battered fry shrimp, two dumplings, salad, rice and the main course. The restaurant is in a strip mall and there’s not a lot of ambiance for dining in, but it’s pretty obvious the money is going to food quality. There were quite a few customers there when we ordered, and so we asked if we could come back in 15 - 20 minutes and had a pint at Peppermill Pub in the meantime. Kings is the healthy option to the various fast food around it. It looked as if there were only two people running the place, the cashier and the cook. Kudos to them for doing a stellar job.“

“Had a friend visiting and were discussing what to eat for lunch, I suggested bahn mi sandwiches, to which since never having one, she was rather “meh”. After telling her how they’re nothing like boring American sandwiches, she agreed to give one a try. We were up at Mt. St. Helens, so I had some time to tell her how they were a staple where I grew up(Bay Area) and how great the last one I had a few years ago in Hawai’i was. Anyway, we finally arrive and having never been here previously, were super impressed with the layout and the vibe of the place. We both ordered pork belly sammys and an order of wontons. It was great to see the look on her face when she took the first bite, her eyes lit up and a smile followed. She now knew the culinary joy I had in my younger years. This place is funky and cozy in the best of ways, and the food is spot on and joyous the senses, plus the staff are super friendly and awesome! I live nowhere near this place(I’m in Canby) and would have no problem traveling here for another taste. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!“

“By far the BEST Tom yum and Tom kha soups in the Beaverton area. Spicy, flavorful, and great portions. We’ve had the pineapple rice and basil fried rice and both were exceptional as well. The staff is always kind and friendly. I go out of my way to eat here.

Good beef sausage and mozzarella cheese stacked inside of a hand dipped planko honey batter. Yumm. My daughter said she wasn’t hungry but she sure ate the entire thing. “I regularly get takeout from this counter service restaurant. If you love tofu, this place is the bomb! I have tried all their tofu dishes and they are so good! Love the black rice too and the side veggies ( cabbage/carrot/broccoli) which is lightly steamed - just right! Great value for the money as portions are generous. “I just got home from an accidental visit to Bamboo Sushi.
I was going to neighboring businesses.
I was hungry and this is one of the few sushi places where I've never eaten.
Well, it turns out that it's one of the very best I've ever visited! A big surprise.
I'm only doing a short review now and hope to add to it soon.
My pictures will tell most of the story.
I looked at a neighboring restaurant and decided not for me.
When I poked my head into Bamboo Sushi, I was immediately impressed with being greeted professionally and she was friendly too. The decor was impressive. Clean, modern. Then when I looked at the menu I knew I was going to eat there now.
As I've said, I have appointments now but I'll try to post some of the pictures before I leave.
Chris was my main server and he was great!
