“I get soooo nervous trying new restaurants as I’m suppperr picky, but I tried the beef yakisoba and tempura shrimp for the first time and it was amazing. Prices are incredible. Portion sizes are more than enough.

I always add extra sauces and spice but I would really enjoy it without adding anything extra. The flavor, freshness, and warm/ welcoming service is there!!

I ordered to go, food was prepared quickly even with about 5 people ahead of me. I decided to eat inside and order a drink and the lady was super kind and welcoming when some places can be sticklers about that.

This is now a staple when I decide to treat myself !!“

“This was an unassuming place in downtown St.Johns to find a Korean restaurant. Street parking was easy to find even on a weekend. The space itself was small but very clean and beautiful with the natural wooden tables, chairs, and benches. We were greeted upon walking but everything else was self-serve. They had the ordering pad station and the menu was small but very curated.

The food was fresh and you can tell it was made with love and care with focus on hearty proteins and lots of veggies. It definitely felt “healthier” than the typical Korean fare but not in a bad way. The banchan was just kimchi and bean sprouts but the kimchi was on point. For the price point I thought it was fair for the quality of the food. The steak was tender and came with a delicious green sauce. The salmon was flavorful with the gochujang seasoning and the veggies were well cooked with just a bit of crunch left. The bulgogi Kimbap was average but the rice inside was nice and soft.

Overall we enjoyed our filling meal here and if you’re in the area definitely give them a try!“

“I really like this restaurant—the food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly. But the wait for our food was just too long. We came in on a Monday evening and waited over 50 minutes after ordering, even though we ordered fairly simple dishes. As much as I enjoy the food and service, that kind of wait makes me hesitant to come back. I’ll probably visit much less often, unless I have nothing better to do and unreasonably crave for the food here. 😂“

“This spot is an absolute gem! We ordered a big spread—the spicy Dubu Kimchi (tofu & pork), sizzling spicy beef soup, crispy grilled fish, and dumplings were all packed with rich, authentic flavor.
Generous portions, fresh banchan (side dishes), and warm, cozy vibes. Piping hot and delicious from start to finish.

“Stopped in around noon last Friday for lunch. There were about 8 people in line placing orders, plus the phone was ringing off the hook for takeout orders, so obviously this place is popular. I ordered the yakisoba noodles with chicken ($12) and my friend ordered the lunch special ($13) that included chicken teriyaki, 3 potstickers, and a fountain drink. Plenty of booth and table seating. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive, but worth the wait. The portions were huge, and everything was delicious and well prepared. I ended up taking the leftovers home and still had plenty for lunch the next day. I will definitely go back again to try some of the other menu items.“

The seasoning and spice of the house noodles was just spot on. My partners ramen was packed with flavor that instantly warmed her body and soul. This was an instant hit. It's a must try. “I got my food to go. I’d never been here before. The host that was going to seat me was super friendly, took me over to the take-out kiosk, showed me how to use it, and explained items on the menu. I ordered one of his suggestions and it was incredible! I’m so glad I went with his suggestion. I made my order, paid for it on the kiosk, and about 10 minutes later, the host brought my meal. Super friendly service! Very quick service. And delicious food. Try this place out. It is great!“

“First time trying & don't know what took me so long. I'm a big fan of Katsu Chicken but rarely order it especially if done with chicken breast. It's rare to find chicken breast not overly dry so avoid ordering it. They told me they use thigh meat for all their dishes so went with it. This was wonderful, cooked to perfection, & a huge amount of food. I will be eating on it for two days. The place was super clean & put the food out quickly. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes.“

“Tasty Teriyaki is a family-owned restaurant with a spot on restaurant title; the teriyaki is indeed tasty.

The lady who served my brother and I was very kind. The portions were generous—especially for the price. After my meal, I was stuffed, satiated, and satisfied.

I recommend the chicken teriyaki or the spicy chicken plates. For those who want a smaller portion, the chicken teriyaki comes in a bowl-option for a few dollars cheaper! If you are in Sherwood and want tasty food for a fair price, check this place out!“

However, this restaurant may have changed my mind.

The barley tea here even seemed better (cleaner tasting somehow) compared to other area restaurants.“

“My friend and I came for the Greek restaurant but as soon as we got out of the car we smelled the intoxicating barbecue two doors down. We both had bulgogi, chicken for me and beef for her. She had steamed vegetables, I had kimchi and we both opted for the black rice. Everything was delicious and the portions were HUGE! Definitely a great value for the reasonably priced menu. They even offer complimentary egg flower soup. There are more items on the menu that I want to try so we'll absolutely come back. The young man at the register is very pleasant and the kitchen staff is talented. Heat warning on the Kimchi! It's delicious, although quite spicy!“

“My daughter and I tried their corn dogs, she got the original and I got the crispy, I have to say I really enjoyed it. Good beef sausage and mozzarella cheese stacked inside of a hand dipped planko honey batter. Yumm. My daughter said she wasn’t hungry but she sure ate the entire thing. No air conditioning so only go if you love eating in an oven.

“Fast, great quality, great value, clean environment. Overall we were satisfied and will be back when traveling along I-5! For what you get, we think it's better than nearby overpriced Momo's. I got the large size poke bowl (with white rice, raw salmon, raw tuna, raw spicy tuna, smoked squid, edamame, seaweed salad, cucumber, white onion, masago, corn, red pickles, ginger, green onions, sesame, dried seaweed, furikake, and yuzu wasabe). The smoked squid was a gamble, but turned out to be delicious and one of my favorite ingredients. There was a nice selection of canned fruit juices. Room to improve: The shrimp and fake crab my husband ordered in his poke bowl are on the menu for variety, but the quality is not as good as the other protein options. The poke bowls could have included more rice to be in better balance with the toppings. The raw white onion could have been sliced more thinly.“

“A lot of places make artisan donuts, but end up overcomplicating them. Mochinut has a wide selection of mochi donuts that are soft and so very flavorful! It is not necessary to add so much to a donut that it weighs as much as you will once you've eaten it; they have delicious glazes with minimal toppings, and it comes out great!“

“I see this place every day! I surfed the reviews and had ti decide to try!!! I paid and received the shrimp and steak noodles spice level 2 or 3?
From the first bite of these plush and pillowy noodles I was smitten like a kitten !
I wish for the price of almost 20$ that there would be more meat included but the food is so good I am able to over look it for now!!
