“What an unexpected surprise. We were celebrating husband's birthday. When we arrived, there were roses on the table and a card for him from the restaurant. Started off with their signature Focaccia Bread, which was wonderful. Then husband had the Lamb Osso Bucco and I had the Parm-crusted Sole. We are both raving about our dinners. There isn't anything bad we could say about either dish. Finished off with Chocolate Mousse and it was amazing. Next to the service - We were greeted warmly at the front door and seated immediately (reservations recommended). Our server Alex was amazing as well. Very attentive but not intrusive. Even David, the owner stopped by for a nice chat. This is a place we highly recommend and we will be back for sure many times in the future!“

“Despite the restaurant being quaint, the energy inside is electric! The posters on the wall are just so cool, my friends and I tried to identify all the movies (and dramas?) we've watched. And the food is so delicious! We had the corn dogs which were delicious, and the tteokbokki was amazing! We also ordered the spicy sweet and regular soy garlic chicken and they were really good, too. I think the spicy sweet could be a little spicier as well. And the bossam! I still think about it at times. It was delicious! I want to go back ASAP.“

“Stopped in for lunch today for the first time. This spot was a bit off my normal lunch route but I was interested to try Umma after reading g good reviews. Located in a strip mall the space is small with little to say hey the food is great. We were seated and menus came, the laminated picture poster was very tattered and worn with many corrections. More images lined the walls of what the food might look like. Being hungry I wasn't in the mood for looking at another option. The restroom clean but also used for a storage closet, clean was important. We ordered a couple dishes, barley tea and water soon followed. The squid scallion pancake came out quickly with a small sauce on the side, excellent flavor. When we were nearly finished the main arrived, a mildly spicy mix of pork onions and sweet Korean chilis sizzled on a cast iron dish. The sides arrived, a generous and tasty assortment of six dishes plus white rice. Food is good here. Tastes authentic and made with care. The space is in need of some charm and updated decor, the tattered menus are not appetizing but fortunately clean. English, well the menu was well written but our server did seem to have much and did well enough to get us through the meal.“

“Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“

“Our first time trying The Fishwife Restaurant and all of the foods we tasted were delicious and presented well! We arrived for dinner just after five pm, and we were lucky to have been seated, as the restaurant was filled.We were immediately greeted and welcomed, followed by the menus being shared for our table. Service was prompt, with a friendly waitress and all of our food was delicious! We will definitely be back to try other menu items. My wife and I encourage you to give them a try!“

“We stopped here for lunch and loved it. Great fish tacos and a good margarita. We came back a second time for lunch and the food wasn't quite as good, but still a nice meal. We went for breakfast our last day in town and was not impressed. I'm told they're famous for their breakfast, so maybe we just made bad choices. I had the corned beef hash and it had very little flavor and was quite chewy. One of my poached eggs was good, the other overcooked. My husband had Sammy's scramble, which was mostly hash browns. Huge portions if that's a consideration, but I left most of mine. Might go back there again for the fish taco if I were in town.“

“The salmon chowder was fresh, well balanced, and just down right amazing. The chicken marsala was also perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful which can't be matched locally so far. We also had the braised beef which was packed with vibrant flavors that made it rich and delightful to the last spoon full. But it wasn't just the food that did it, the entire atmosphere was amazing and I highly suggest visiting them for a warm and inviting atmosphere.“

I really enjoy the panang curry and the pad see ew. For less adventurous souls the yakisoba and Thai peanut noodle are great dishes for people new to the cuisine. I always get Thai tea in the summer but I also enjoy the hot tea when I dine in. I am not partial to seafood textures but the flavor was great and I even tasted a scallop and enjoyed it. Spring rolls are served with a tasty peanut sauce. “Only $18 for an all you can eat buffet from 11:30am-2:30pm! So,..no you won't get lamb, goat, or seafood. For that come in at 5:30. Wonderful food. Polite, attentive owner & staff. Nice background music. Simple but adequate furnishings. I sampled everything. Very authentic. Loved the curry vegitables and butter chicken.“

“We visited this restaurant when they first opened this location but hadn't been back because it was so busy and then really wasn't on usual restaurant rotation. We met friends there last night for an early dinner and Monday night is the time to go. Not busy at all, great service, and while the prices at first seemed a bit high, it was worth it. The medium size house margarita was large and delicious. The food portions were huge and I'll have three meals from mine. Great vegan options, fresh, tasty and delicious. We won't wait so long to return. Wish I had taken photos but believe me, everything is great.“
