“Fantastic New American restaurant in Oregon wine country. We walked in for brunch at 12:30 on a Sunday in April and sat at the bar. We got incredible service from their friendly bartender Steven. The double smash cheeseburger and the chicory Caesar salad were two of the best versions we’ve had in a long time, and their homemade Oreos and milk were an unforgettable dessert. Their orange cassis gin & tonic was a memorably great take on a G&T.Even better, most ingredients are sourced from the restaurant’s own farm.“

“We were surprised and excited to find a high-end restaurant a block from our hotel. We jumped on the chance to go and were definitely rewarded for it. The tasting menu was great with the wine pairings. The dishes really encouraged taking a 'perfect bite' to make the magic happen. There were many interesting dishes presented in novel ways and flavor combinations to tickle even my fickle palette. The theme of the food was definitely a mushroom, root vegetable, 'earthy,' umami forward experience. The wines were perfectly paired with the dishes and had a great variety, even including local favorites. If there is anything to caution over, make sure you get a reservation at least a day in advance and know that it is pricey. If you love the fine dining experience and wish to splurge, please give it a go. You won't be disappointed. This is on-par with some of the Michelin starred restaurants we've eaten at. It's the real deal.“

“Absolutely DELICIOUS! The past few times I have been here the food has been amazing, the service has been wonderful, and the line hasn't been too long. Would absolutely recommend Crescent for breakfast or lunch. Today we ate lunch here and all ordered something different. Everything was perfect!“

“This was our second time choosing the Oregon Omaksce Experience option. Last night we opted for the Tête de Cuvée as well. Imagine the word "Wow" expressed in multi-syllabic fashion - then you're getting close to what you can expect. Bravo Joel Palmer House, Bravo.“

“Stopped here for lunch with my Sister and Sister in law.Nice quiet little Cafe in Lafayette, OR. I ordered the Pork Belly Tacos, which I highly recommend. They were delicious. The Service was a bit slow, but the food more then makes up for it, as well as the friendly atmosphere.“

“We found ourselves in McMinnville and needed breakfast. We chose the WildWood Cafe. The special was great. We were served real sliced potatoes, homemade (on site) bread that was fantastic, and their Marionberry jam, which they also make. Be sure to buy a jar to take home! The breakfast was awesome! Treat yourself, go to the WildWood Cafe!“

“In general I do enjoy this place as a nice ice cream spot, but please be aware their matcha latte may not be quite what you expect. I’m a frequent matcha drinker, I’ve never had a matcha latte /anywhere/ else that was anything other than some combination of matcha powder and milk, but the one I got today included coffee. Odd combination, definitely not what I expected, and it certainly wasn’t written anywhere that that surprise addition would make its way into the drink? While the staff member was kind enough to make it for me cold instead of hot upon request, she seemed generally confused about what she was doing, and initially gave me just their version of the matcha latte, and not the matcha latte special I had ordered from their employee creations board. I had to prompt her to add the ice cream offered in the description on the board. Altogether the drink wasn’t necessarily bad, just very strange, and not what I, or anyone else I know, would expect of a matcha latte.“

“This was such a special dinner. Excellent in every way . Unique or classic, each dish was so exceptional! Fine fusion ? Upscale casual ? I don't know what to call this "vibe" but I really could fall in love with this venue ! Our server was completely competent yet completely casual, great ! Our first round of mixed drinks was an eye opener ! This nosh is complex ! We were blown away by our firsts ... "bread & fat "was so much more than implied ... and steak tar-tar ...a classic seldom seen today ... they really nailed it ! I will return for drinks and starters without a doubt , as soon as possible! For our entree we all chose quail and were really happy with its lovely presentation ,a wholesome feast. Farm to table at its best . A perfect place to savor the best of what Oregon has on offer .“

“First, there IS AN ELEVATOR! You do not need to walk up three flights of stairs. Next, BEST CLAM CHOWDER in Oregon. My hubby and I have eaten clam chowder nearly everywhere. We go the Oregon and Washington coast every year and we eat the clam chowder at nearly every restaurant we visit. This place has the best clam chowder we have EVER EATEN! Every spoonful was filled with clams and even to the end of the bowl there were clams galore. Service was excellent. Wait person was super helpful. Just a really nice place to eat. Oh, and the outdoor seating was lovely. The place is clean, even the bathrooms were well cared for. Moving to the coast for the food? Think about McMinnville and the 1882 Grille and go there first. You will not find better clam chowder anywhere.“

“Blue Goat is my absolute favorite place to dine in Amity. And I know, Amity isn't a huge town, but even if it was filled with restaurants, I know Blue Goat would still be the best. I love everything about them: Locally grown produce and meat, and a short, curated menu so you can depend on anything you order to be exemplary. They have prepared items if you just want a little something to grab and go, and they also sell their meat and produce too! We've dined here a few times, and I always try to order a goat or lamb dish as that is not something I would cook at home, and I know it will be skillfully prepared and tasty. For instance, we recently had goat empanadas....so darn good! Love them! We've also had the lamb barbeque. Their fries are ridiculously crispy and yummy, salads are always good, and for dessert the chocolate cake or cookies have been delicious. Don't forget to wander around a bit while you wait on your order (Which is always quick!). They have fun artwork, cute mugs, even dog treats! In December they had some sweet handmade ornaments and bulbs in planters. They are only open 3-8 Friday and Saturday so might take a little planning ahead, but they are so worth seeking out. If you are in McMinnville, it's only a little drive, and if traveling from that area to Salem, maybe make a pit stop in Amity for a tasty treat?“
