“Fantastic beers. Cool patio. I heard about the troubles this brewery has had to endure and it made me sad and yet also quite inspired. Whatever storms they’ve weather, it hasn’t done anything that I could tell to the beers and service. Top notch, all the way around.“

Every single time we pass by the area, it is either too long of a line or we just time it out wrong so we miss our opportunity and they are closed but we finally got lucky enough and I regret sharing the one basket and not trying it before! “Amazing. We were told if you go to Astoria go and try the fish n Chips from this one place but they sold out and so we saw this place and we were so glad we did. Hubby had the Philly cheesesteak and I had the fish n chips, we both shared the awesome bowl of claim chowder. FYI they have the best tarter sauce“

“I really enjoy getting my drinks from this Astoria Growler Guys. The service is excellent. Staff is friendly and have great knowledge. I travel from Hillsboro to refill with them. If you have time to sit and enjoy your drinks. Do so. There are a few seats inside and nice space outside fire pit. With picnic tables. There are two food trucks too.“

“I’ve never been to such a cool wine bar. The owner was just as cool to match. This whole pier is really historical and even has a little museum of the cannery. Felt like the perfect Oregon spot to spend the evening. Really loved this gem!“

Sadly not that many vegetarian/pescatarian options. Most dishes are with beef, pork or chicken. There are a few options with shrimp or tofu.

“We are from Tacoma, WA area, but any time we head to Oregon there are 2 things we try to do every time, and that is the Cathlamet Ferry and Dee Dee Thai! Both are consistently awesome! This time we had the satay, mango curry, BBQ chicken and mango dessert - all of them were fantastic! We bought more than we can eat so we could have some the next day. Wow, the mango dessert is great for breakfast! Green rice? So delicious! (I think it may have some lime flavor). Can't wait to go back!“

“Always have to stop here! My favorite is a 30oz twix blend and it's only $6.50! Best coffee ice had and cheapest. Also very friendly staff, I've met 3 or 4 different baristas all offered great service. Only con is the turn into it.“

Our waiter, Patrick was so wonderful and attentive and even when I left my wallet there he and the manager kept it safe for me till the next day!! 10/10 recommend for quality food and staff!“

“Always enjoy Ft George and the ambiance is normally just right, but last nights visit with friends and family was hard to get through. The music was so loud that we practically had to shout at each other to have a conversation. I actually couldn't wait to get served and finish our pizza so we could leave. Food is always good and the views of the River also make it a great experience, but they really need to turn down the volume on the music.“

You can even be taken there by the trolley if you are here during Spring to Fall. Tasty ice cream though, what else could you ask for?“

I ordered online for delivery, as we were staying just up out of town at Astoria Crest Motel. I selected like, an 8pm delivery window and I'm not kidding when our pizza SHOWED up 17 minutes later. It was hot, fresh and made exactly right! It tasted delicious and the crust was *chef's kiss* - they even brought us plates, napkins and cheese/pepper packets like I asked for. Will definitely be ordering again next time we're in town.“
