“During my stay at this hotel, I stopped into the bar/restaurant for dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was.

Very impressive pork chop and carrot cake.

Very attentive and courteous staff— the chef also came out and spoke to us, which was cool. The man behind the magic pork chop.

The locals here go crazy for the Indian food too, which is served every day except Sunday.

All expectations surpassed with this unique restaurant connected to a large, multi-building Best Western hotel campus.

“We went today (Sunday) and they were crazy busy. The line was out the door. We found the only empty table available, out front. It took us 30 minutes just to place our order. We bought 3 boxes of pastries to go, then a breakfast sandwich, breakfast platter, a coffee and two chai teas. We arrived at 11:15 and didn’t receive our food until 1pm. They did warn us that it would be a long wait for our food, and they were all hustling. Now let me tell you, the food was AMAZING! The first bite of my raspberry pastry, and I didn’t care how long I had to wait for the rest of my food. The ginger chai was unique and delicious. When I decided to add a salad to my order, because breakfast was long gone, we were still waiting and now it was lunch time… the chef came out and apologized and wouldn’t let me pay for it. Get the house salad! Just do it! The pickled shallots, the sun dried tomatoes, oh my goodness. It was an explosion of flavor and like no salad I’ve ever had before. SO GOOD. The grilled cheese and egg breakfast sandwich. Pure comfort food! It’s oozing cheese and well trust me, just order it. My husband enjoyed his breakfast platter and the potatoes…..DELICIOUS ! The strawberry lemonade is probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Light and refreshing with a bit of carbonation. My only suggestion would be to not be training a new cashier on such a busy day. But, everyone was very helpful and friendly and did I mention that the food is PHENOMENAL!”

“The food here is absolutely phenomenal. Fresh healthy ingredients in the salad and a great big NY style slice of delicious pizza. Staff was efficient and courteous and very friendly. Music wasn't to my taste but wasn't overwhelming. All in all a great dinner on our way thru town.”

“One of my all time favorite coffee shops since high school. They're typically consistent with friendly, good service. They make the best white chocolate mocha of all time in my book and the blended bearded dragon is fantastic.”

“This place is right in downtown. The food was better than expected. I really like the kung pao chicken sauce. I love the peanuts and zucchini. The fried shrimp was very delicious and had a crunch that was on point. Shrimp was not deveined but I dont mind that. The egg drop soup was probably the best I’ve had. That says a lot. So delicious. The Fortune cookie actually tasted good too. The only thing I was not fond of was the fried rice. Did not like it. The price was great for what I paid! 12.95. I would go back.”

“Joe is my absolute go to .....he makes ANYTHING PERFECT AND ITS ALWAYS WHAT I ASKED FOR above and beyond he goes he's always why I believe tip ur barista I appreciate all the employees there they are all excellent service....we all have a certain barista though that does are perfection and pickiest directions and he does it with excellent service and excellent taste thank u Joe for making me always wanna come back to Starbucks in baker city oregon ....update so I have another barista Brook omgggg she makes hers excellent iam addicted to pistachio lattes cuz of her ommmg and shes so sweet happy 😊”
