“Nice interior, good wine. Didn’t try food this first time, and sat at the bar for a glass of wine. Observed that most of staff looked unenthusiastic and very few smiling—including the manager who was dressed like a lumberjack. (A bit weird for what is being touted as a “French restaurant.”). We’ll try dinner next time and hope for the best.“

“Twice now I’ve eaten at Ox. I came back for the Clam Chowder with Smoked Bone Marrow as it left such a lasting impression. This time, we tried the Skirt Steak with the Radicchio & Romaine Salad. It was a 10/10! Most excellent meal. We also sat at the grille where all the steaks and chops were being prepared, and we loved feeling part of the process. Can't wait to bring family!“

“Omg. Brock was amazing. So informative and funny and engaging. He gave us the experience I normally expect at a winery where I’m doing a tasting. He is amazing. This was our fifth stop on our wine trail but also our favorite. I can’t wait to come back.“

“Dynamite. Great crust that's a blend of crispy but soft under the immediate toppings so when you eat it the temp is what wrecks the top of your mouth but then you don't chop it up with the too crisp crust shards. Sauce is lovely, hint of orange. Quality cut meats and veggies. Come here and eat this pie.“

“Stem Wine having Friendship Kitchen (their 3rd location!) inside now is such a match made in heaven! We had the Mì Quảng Tumeric noodles + bottle of Pinot Grigio and kept talking about how underrated Vietnamese food is with wine pairings. Lobster Puffs are also to die for! Their patio area is gonna be the place to be this summer!“

“If you are a wine connoisseur this is quite the find. It's a tiny shop located out of the way but their selection of wines is good and their prices are very competitive. The two owners are there almost all of the time... Easy going and good conversationalist. You won't want to miss this one.“

“We had an absolutely stellar meal celebrating our son's 17th birthday. The staff was friendly and accommodating without hovering, and each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Olympia Provisions is such a perfect Portland restaurant, in that it's warm and inviting without feeling pretentious, and there is clearly immense talent and passion informing the menu and its execution. Looking forward to our next visit!“

“I’d seen this place a couple times on my way to the train station, and was so thrilled when I had the opportunity to stop in tasting flights of lovely wine, a very chill atmosphere, and Sarah working behind the bar was just a delight!

“Super cute wine bar! If you like wine, stop by and see what they are pouring that day. Also, they don't really have food. So if you want a full meal, eat before going here. I gave the food 4 stars, because they don't serve meals. You can get nuts, bread, and one other item (I forgot what it is).“

“Stopped by Bar Diane on a Sunday and absolutely loved it. We had the $2 oyster special, which were fresh and delicious, along with some tinned fish that paired perfectly with our sparkling wine. Sundays are a great deal here with 20% off sparkling wines, making it even better. Cozy vibe, great bites, and excellent value — definitely a spot worth checking out.“
“Great date-night vibes. Loved the simple menu (I get overwhelmed when there are many options) and intimate feel. My music-snob date enjoyed the tunes, and I enjoyed the romantic lighting, great wine, and variety of seating options (private spots, window seats, tucked-away tables, bar seating). Love that it's not just one big room. Bathroom was clean. Bartender was kind and low-key. 10/10.“

“So, I went to this place called Forte Portland just to check it out. I ended up getting a coffee, but it was completely silent in there. Not a single person was around, which was kind of relaxing, I guess. There's a piano there, but no one was playing it. And get this, the person working the counter was practically asleep when I walked up. I'm guessing it's not exactly a popular place during the day. Maybe it turns into a nice bar or something later at night.“

“There is a nice selection of tasty wines that will not break the bank, and the wine club is off the hook! The tasting room is bright and welcoming, as is the tasting room team. It’s worth the trip any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.“

“Great pho with better than most cuts of meat. My wife got the pad thai and said she enjoyed it very much. Would recommend to friends. They were also very nice to my 2.5 year old daughter and were considerate enough to bring a small bowl for her to share some of our food with.“

“Perfect evening. Host was very accommodating given my mom uses a walker and finding parking spot I can safely get her out of the car is difficult, so we arrived late. They have an elevator— that was a relief. We were placed in a cozy booth. Raphael was our server. He was PERFECTION and made our evening so special. His charm and attentiveness were equally matched by the incredible dishes. The deserts? Also very delicious! I'll definitely be back.“

“Appreciate the ability to reserve a table...especially on a nice day. Salad was fresh and enjoyed the whole green olives. Several fun board options but with they came with fresh fruit. The best thing we ate was the melted birdie and honey app. So delicious. Tuxedo cake was a little fudgy but still good. Red wines were solid with thw standout being the Maeli 2021.“
