It’s literally so good that I wake up and crave it 😂 most authentic flavor packed Birrias I’ve ever had. The owner is just as wonderful, so kind and genuine. “Great food, large portions, and fair prices. Visited with my mother and she ordered a carne asada burrito and I ordered 3 tacos (Tripe, lengua, and fajita) the tacos were delicious and larger than most other restaurants. Mom enjoyed the burrito and brought half of it home for later. The salsa bar is extensive and fresh too!“

“Came to visit the local spot we would go too in high school. The super burritos are still as big as your forearm and just as delicious as before! Said hello to some staff that has been working there for YEARS! It was nice to take a trip down memory lane and see that the food is still so delicious! Highly recommend!“

“This place is our new favorite! Amazing prices, huge portions, great flavor! Love the self serve chip and salsa station. Also love the self serve soft drink station. They have a large outdoor seating area that is pet friendly! Their children’s menu is very well priced! The staff is awesome! So friendly, helpful and kind! We love it here!!!“

“Yo, I'm a fan of a simple yet satisfying burrito. Truth be told I only like burritos from very specific places and I wasn't sure about trying something new. They not only gave me what I was looking for, they have shown their humanity and goodwill to me. They are a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day in the neighborhood that I live in, I'm mad at myself that it took me this long to find them. I am now just a little more inspired to try new places for my favorite things. Thank you Nelly for being amazing on the days when I really need it!“

“I had my first experience at Margarita Factory (Gresham) tonight and it was better than I imagined. The menu has plenty of options. In fact, just the Margarita menu was over-stimulating. The food is tasty, fast service. And such a kind and accommodating staff. I know people will say “it’s her job to do so,” but coming from someone in a wheelchair who doesn’t have use of her hands, I loved that my waiter kept walking by to refill my glass (it was never empty). I recommend this place for a cute little date night out or with a group of loved ones in celebration.“

Post-hike munchies after Mt. Talbert led us straight to Tamale Boy (Happy Valley) and WOW—we’re in love. The al pastor nachos were crispy, cheesy, spicy perfection. The chile verde and tinga tamales were cozy little flavor bombs.
Service was super friendly, vibes were chill, and honestly? This might be our new ritual. Tamales + trees + a little weed = heaven. 🌯🌲💨💚“

“Mr Compadre (aka Señor Buddy) is part of an impressive parque de carritos in Fairview called the Fairview Fork. The facility includes ample indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, and even a stage for karaoke et al.
To the tacos, though. The carnitas tacos were delicious, everything sparkling fresh and the meat itself a mix of crisped edges and unctuous tender bits. I appreciated the radishes and plentiful lime wedges.
The unexpected highlight here was the chile toreado. In my experience this is usually a deep fried whole chile. At Mr Compadre they split a large jalapeño and sear it on the plancha with some onion petals and plenty of salt. The chile and onions soak up the glaze left by the carnitas. It was easily the best tasting chile toreado I’ve had, and now I am curious how widely their preparation differs. I guess I am fixing to find out.

“My husband, son, and I visited after a long bike ride on the spring water corridor trail. The owner Raul was super friendly and the food was incredible! We got the shredded beef enchilada, al pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, and al pastor burritos. We will be back!“
