“Authentic, great tasting food. This is the real deal, so tasty I ordered another dinner to go, plus lunch for the next day, too. Nice place, like eating in your mom's kitchen, plus there's even a ice cream parlor attached next door that serves up some really good ice cream too.“
“In general I do enjoy this place as a nice ice cream spot, but please be aware their matcha latte may not be quite what you expect. I’m a frequent matcha drinker, I’ve never had a matcha latte /anywhere/ else that was anything other than some combination of matcha powder and milk, but the one I got today included coffee. Odd combination, definitely not what I expected, and it certainly wasn’t written anywhere that that surprise addition would make its way into the drink? While the staff member was kind enough to make it for me cold instead of hot upon request, she seemed generally confused about what she was doing, and initially gave me just their version of the matcha latte, and not the matcha latte special I had ordered from their employee creations board. I had to prompt her to add the ice cream offered in the description on the board. Altogether the drink wasn’t necessarily bad, just very strange, and not what I, or anyone else I know, would expect of a matcha latte.“
“Yogurt: 3 stars. They have several flavors, some which are seasonal but I never understood why they never had the plain yogurt flavor, which is the only flavor I really look for whenever I get a FroYo. But since it's the closest one in town, I can't complain. The toppings are great. No complaints there. Although before COVID, you were able to put your own toppings, then during COVID, they were putting them on for you. When I went in today, they now have each serving of toppings in small plastic containers. SORRY MOTHER EARTH! Service: No complaints in this department. Nothing remarkable either. Usually when I go, it's never too busy.Atmosphere: pretty quiet and chill place to have a FroYo. The place is bright and clean. This place would've easily gotten 5 stars from me if they had the plain yogurt flavor AND if they didn't put each serving of toppings in a plastic container. Lol.“
“A hidden gem in McMinnville. I found this place by mistake because it doesn't really look like a taqueria. It looks like an ice cream candy shop, which is what you see when you walk in. I really want to be selfish and keep this gem to myself, but everyone deserves to experience real authentic Mexican food that rivals my grandmothers cooking growing up in her home. The tacos are amazing with all tortillas made when you order. They also have pupusas which I think the cheese are the best , they also have gorditas. The only other place I have seen these were in my grandmas kitchen. They are a thick corn tortilla that is stuffed with meat of your choice, asada for me and filled with veggies. (Yum) another favorite is the quesadilla. It's all homemade and it's huge. I can barely finish it , in fact it's hard saying it's a quesadilla because it has so much meat. Again Asada for me. The service is amazing and the cucumber Lemonade is delish. They also take orders over the phone, and will have everything ready.“
“I'm only giving this a 4 because the food was worth it. Home made ice cream is hands down amazing. The burgers were great! My son LOVED his cod. And I was very impressed that they didn't use shredded cheese but actual melted cheese! We were happy with the food. Service was okay. I wish the gal would have made us feel a little welcoming especially since it was our first time, when I asked for recommendations and what sells the most, she wasn't too helpful but she was still kind.“
“Just took a chance passing through town, and the place looked cute. We had: wood-fired pepperoni pizza, garlic & cheese bread, and their potato & truffle bisque. I'd go out of my way to come back to this place. The flavors were a level-up, so fresh, so layered & decadent. Service was prompt & friendly, great atmosphere, cozy seating, ample selection of beverages (alcoholic & non) for on-premises consumption or take-home. Sweet little ice cream & candy parlor on the other side if you still have room for dessert. Worth the jaunt out to Carlton!“
