“Excellent ambiance and wine. If I were to design a tasting room from the ground-up, this is what it would look and feel like. The tasting room feels like a contemporary Italian château, complete with multiple fireplaces and an occasional guitarist. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Zero pretentiousness here - it’s a great place to ask questions and learn more about wine. We even had the winemaker come out to our table and chat with us about the wines. My wife and I became members here after our first visit because we immediately knew we’d be coming back for more.“
“We had a charming visit at Helvetia. The wine was delicious, the setting was relaxing and beautiful, the staff very friendly. It was down to earth and unpretentious, unlike many tastings. The resident puppy was a major bonus. I would go again if I'm ever in the area again.“
“This was a needle in a haystack.. Beautiful beautiful grounds, lovely animals and fun people people.. The tasting flight all of them were fantastic. I highly recommend!“
“This was one of the best experiences my husband and I had during our trip to Oregon! As we were tourists, we happened to fall upon this amazing winery coming back from our trip to the coast. We were immediately greeted with friendly faces and amazing service as well as a bit of shelter from the rain :) Huge shout out to Lori for not only being extremely personable and knowledgeable, but also for teaching us so much. From telling the story of the winery, and how the wine flavors are influenced from the soil of the region, it was so eye opening. We do not come from a wine country region of the US and we quickly learned we did not know what good wine was or much about wine in general. It was a learning experience but also with truly the best wine we have ever had. Also make sure to ask about the stories of the winery cats and how they help out the winery! We will make a trip back to Oregon strictly to come visit this winery again. Thank you Lori and the all winery staff for the amazing experience and wine! FYI- they ship wine if you're traveling from out of state!! :)“
“We had a great second time. The first time we visited, my sister and brother in law were visiting from Germany, the place is gorgeous, great pictures all around.
During this visit only wife and I came, it was a BDay celebration, they treated us wonderfully. One of the guys speaks Russian, I think that's a great asset to have around, and then, more guests you may have.
Thank you all for your candid assistance, well see you back sometime soon.“
“Elliot was a wonderful host! We learned so much about the history of the Ponzi winery and the wine making process. The wines were delicious and the charcuterie board was perfect! The setting is spectacular too! A lovely way to spend an afternoon in Oregon wine country.“
“Great view and great snacks with the wine. Loved the entire time we spent there“
“This winery has an INCREDIBLE view! The sommelier was incredibly kind and outgoing and made us feel right at home. I love that this winery is named after the falcons and raptors in the area. Got to see a beautiful red tailed hawk from our table! Highly recommended!“

“I had a lovely wine-tasting here for my bday, which Michelle (our server) and Ginger (fluffy friend) helped make this a special and unique experience! I loved the additional champagne tasting in addition to their wine tasting. The education provided by the server and the written information were very insightful. I loved the French influence and creation of the wines, and I tried red cuvée for the first time, which was lovely! I was a big fan of their spin on malbec.“
“Wonderful Wine Amazing People Great Nonprofit Always a Great Time!“
“Excellent weather to go to a winery. There are hundreds of vineyards around Oregon, and I try to take the time to check some of them out when possible. This year however we’ve made it more of a priority. This one is right close to our home (about 15 minutes away). One of my all time favorite wines is the Toasted Cow White Blend from Oak Knoll. Sweet but not too sweet and light and refreshing, perfect for a Summer’s day. Highly recommend.“
“I had wonderful time at a winery for my first time!!! I’m definitely going back, thank you so much for the wonderful service.“
“Such a great spot! The staff here is seriously the best! They are always so welcoming and always going out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. The wine is amazing, and the whole place has such a cozy vibe that makes you just want to sit back, relax, and stay awhile.
It’s the perfect place to laugh, smile, and hang out with friends. Every time I come here, I leave happier than when I walked in. Definitely one of my favorite places in town!“
“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.
My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“
“I came across their wines at the wine shop near our house in Yachats. I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. The staff was super friendly, as was Steve, the owner. We bought some amazing wine and just really enjoyed our afternoon.“
“We had a wonderful time at Kramer Vineyards staying over in our RV as part of the Harvest Host program. The location is sublime, rolling hills planted with grapes interspersed with forest. The spot for larger RVs is very private as it’s nestled between the vines. We had an excellent bottle of sparkling rose in beautiful glasses and took one bottle of Pinot Blanc to go.“

“This is by far one of the best wineries I’ve been to in Oregon! The views of Mt. Hood are absolutely stunning, and the overall atmosphere is immaculate. The owners are incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience even more enjoyable for me and my friends. Plus, they have the cutest dog! The wine and food were both fantastic, especially the Bulls Blend! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great wine-tasting experience in Oregon with friends or family.“
