Sidereus Vineyard & Winery Winery • $$
5195 SW Hergert Rd, Cornelius

“I enjoyed a lovely wine tasting and charcuterie with my mother and partner on Sidereus' outside, upper deck. The owners and their staff are fantastic. They have a great view of Mt. Hood if you happen to visit when there's no overcast - but either way, that shouldn't deter you from experiencing this top-notch winery. Highly recommend!“

Helvetia Vineyards & Winery Wineries •
23269 NW Yungen Rd, Hillsboro - 9.54 miles

“What a wonderful experience. We booked a tour of the winery and were blown away by how thorough and detailed it was. We got to see every step of the wine making process. The wines we tried were all excellent and we learned about the soil properties and growing conditions that affect the flavor during the tasting. We were even lucky enough to meet the resident cat and Labrador. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a relaxing afternoon and a truly Oregonian experience.“

Elk Cove Vineyards Wineries • $$
27751 NW Olson Rd, Gaston - 9.44 miles

“We picked Elk Cove as a winery to stop at on our way to the coast for our honeymoon and are so glad we did. We had a great time here from start to finish. We did a tasting of pinot noirs with Gloria who gave us an awesome experience and a wealth of information about the winery and what we were tasting. We really enjoyed the Pinot Noir Reserve and ended up buying a bottle to take with us. The patio and view overlooking the vineyard just can’t be beat. There is also a fairly large indoor space with ample seating if the weather isn’t cooperating. Note that they appeared to be doing some renovations outside but this in no way affected the experience, view, etc. If you’re looking for a great wine experience in the valley, look no further!“

262 SE 4th Ave, Hillsboro - 3.66 miles

“Don’t miss this one!!!! Excellent winemaking, we had so much fun tasting these exceptional wines and went home with so many bottles. Great service and a fun tasting area. I am certainly no expert but have done a fair amount of tasting around the area and in my opinion these were really outstanding wines. Varietals shine, but everything had great balance and was super drinkable. We walked away with 6 bottles because we couldn’t settle on a favorite.“

Abbey Creek Winery: The OG Crick Winery • $$
31441 NW Commercial St, North Plains - 6.1 miles

“Abbey Creek Winery has a vibe on its own. Depending on the day when you walk through the door you may get greeted by the owner Tony. He is a unique owner with aspiration to show you what hip-hop feels like and tastes like all rolled up into one. Down to the smallest details of his playlist which is the wine tasting down to the Biggie Smalls 101 section he even got a Jay Z Mini setup there's even DJ turntables in a wooden barrel. If you are ever in Portland and you need a place just to chill out listen to good music have a beautiful wine tasting with a vibe hip hop in the background something to touch your soul Abbey Creek Winery is the place to go. There is food as well. We had to creme brulee we have to make another trip for the food experience.
My wine recommendation is the sunshine, flip it and reverse. But for the ultimate Hip Hop Experience have the POPS that bottle of wine oh my God was something you need extraordinary. This wine is a slow sip that is smooth on the tongue. POPS is dedicated to Tony's father and his heritage. The store and the story behind it is so wonderful and heart felt.
Make it a point to stop by Abby's Creek and catch your vibe ?“

Colene Clemens Vineyards Winery •
22501 NE Dopp Rd, Newberg - 9.45 miles

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

Kramer Vineyards Winery •

“Kramer is like home to me !The new tasting was outside on the patio.Three tables at a time. We had a 90 minute time slot reserved. Everyone wore masks when appropriate. Our Hostess Sarah, and server Keri, were wearing masks and as always endearing. I love the time there. We have visited many times before becoming members the first of the year.Looking forward to dinners, classes, and musical performances in the future! This is a great vinyard with learning opportunities, views, and the top flight staff“

Oak Knoll Winery Wineries • $$
29700 SW Burkhalter Rd, Hillsboro - 5.43 miles

“Went for a private event. The setting for wine tasting was quite rustic inside what looked like a storage space. The wines we tried were quite good, especially the whites and the estate Pinot Noir. Their wine club seems rather fair not requiring any periodic wine purchase. Employees helping us were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Would recommend.“

“We had a really lovely time at Ponzi Vineyards. Phillip was knowledgeable and very sweet! We brought babies and they weren’t snooty about that and very welcoming. The cheese board was delicious and not skimpy like some wineries! We did a tasting and also got some glasses of wine. Loved the rose pinot noir! Yum. A bachelorette party was also there and having a fun time and staff were sweet to them. Thanks Ponzi! We’ll be back.“
