“Eat lunch here regularly. It’s good but sort of inconsistent. They do not have anything spicy. I asked for the hottest sauce, they gave me habanero but it was more like water and not spicy at all. If you want spicy, make sure to get a couple grilled jalapeños on the side. Horchata is good too.“

One of our party is a loyal fan of their empanadas. La Arepa NE served us our first arepas and we were hooked! The sauces are distinct and delicious. There are dairy free and vegan options. I’ve ordered the cucumber roll and cucumber/avocado roll many times and they’re huge servings for a very low price. Once when I came to the cart and it was cold and rainy, they gave me a complimentary miso soup which was sooooo nice and I still remember the gesture!

“Usually I don't leave reviews unless I am blown away. This is one of those cases. I ordered the Lamb Gyro with Baklava for dessert. The meat on the lamb melts in your mouth, the sauces are so flavorable, the bread was warm and soft, the gyro was packed with meat.

The baklava was delicious, sweet but enough to the point to where its not overly sweet, a perfect level of sweetness that is hard to be replicated.

I live in Vancouver and UberEats this all the way from Portland. It is the best middle eastern food I have ever had, tonight it has taken the #1 throne. Writing this review right after I ate it.“
