“Last year I went here for Carne Asada fries, which I really enjoyed. The fries can get cold and hard pretty quick, because you get a LOT of food and it will take you a while to eat it all. I remember that I really enjoyed my birthday meal! I swear what I got had chunks of steak in it - a generous amount.
Yesterday I went with my parents for their anniversary, because Mom had tried my food last year and she's been wanting to go. We don't eat out a lot, money is tight, so special occasions only.
The person who took our order was friendly, the food was good and as before, there was a LOT of it. But this time we got hamburger or some kind of ground meat! Still tasted good as I said, but isn't Carne Asada supposed to be chunks of steak?
So that's why the 4-star review. If you go here for Carne Asada, be sure to verify you are getting steak, not ground beef or whatever. We didn't do this - I didn't know we had to based on my experience last year.
My scoring reflects the fairly tasty food, the friendly service, and the gas station location. Yeah... No atmosphere here! But yes, you can look at the hills, if you can overlook a large, asphalt parking lot, gas station and gas pumps.“
“These tacos absolutely blew us away. We got two birria, one chicken, and one villamelon. We both commented how good they were as soon as we started eating. They were seasoned well and so good that I instantly regretted not ordering four or five.
The birria was our favorite. My wife said the chicken was very good. I really loved the villamelon as well. It had a great crispy texture. I told my wife, next time we come to the area, I’m getting like five of those tacos.
The workers were very kind and the service was fast. Cannot wait to get more already!“

“I highly recommend Pita Giovanni, Gargantuan gyros overflowing with succulent lamb and a vibrant medley of veggies. Falafel were flavor-bombs, each bite a symphony of crispy exterior and tender heart.“

“This place has one of the best vegan banh mi I’ve tried. The bread is fresh and crispy, and the fillings are well seasoned and delicious. I also love the peaceful atmosphere since the shop is inside a beautiful temple area. The staff are friendly and the food feels homemade. Highly recommend if you are looking for tasty vegan Vietnamese food. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-06“

“Expect higher prices than normal for blander food than normal -- a reflection of the socioeconomic area and community of Troutdale.
1. Good variety of food and selection of carts.
2. Clean areas and building.
3. Food is typically bland across all the carts compared to other areas such as The Fork in Wood Village, Gresham Food Carts, Rockwood Market, and pretty much any other food cart area around Gresham/Portland. This is 100% due to catering to the taste of Troutdale's community.
For point #3, using the Thai cart and Mexican cart as standards of spice and heat, they don't ask you spice level when you order (no spice by default for Troutdale folks) and spice levels are incredibly low. Medium spice level here is mild compared to other areas. Troutdale just can't handle spice.
If you end up wanting Mexican here, for the love of god, just walk to the Troutdale Burrito Shop.
This place has size and variety going for it. For flavor and saving your wallet, go to other food cart areas.“

Found this place when I first moved to the PNW and never switched to another shop. Any questions I ask get answered. Their quality is always on point and if I ever have a complaint they will fix it right then and there with the most positive warm energy.
They’ve taken great care and focus for their craft to give the best experience possible to their customers.

“Hands down the BEST chicken biryani I’ve ever tried. I drive 40+ minutes 1-2 times a week just to get it because it’s so good. You get so much that we split it between two people and it fills us both up. I’ve tried many other Indian restaurants but none of them compare to this one. Great prices and even better food.“

“See you can always tell when a place is REAL when it has good reviews, and you can't mf find it on the dam maps! I'm sitting here bro looking at the spot where I know that it is because I was there hours ago. Stupid maps tryna play games always.

“We visited recently and had a fantastic experience! The food at Flatliners Grill was great! They went above and beyond for my grandson, who has a peanut allergy. We also loved the welcoming atmosphere and highly recommend it! Oh, and the apple pie waffle from Grob PDX was delicious! 😋“
“If you drive by 174th and Powell, you have to get a coffee from Bee Grounded Coffee, the staff is the best !!! Always remembers our order and its always delicious. “I eat a lot of burritos. This guy makes such delicious ones. Great mixture of ingredients. Not too heavy on any one type. I believe he cooks the meat fresh as opposed to having everything pre-prepared. He is also super professional. Wears his chef clothes and brings it out to you like a waiter. “I had an amazing Thai chicken and vegetable dish at The Fork – Fairview Food Plaza, and it did not disappoint! The owners were incredibly friendly and took the time to listen to my preferences. The dish featured large-cut, fresh vegetables and perfectly sliced chicken, all coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. It had a bit of a spicy kick (they forgot to ask about my spice level), but it was still absolutely delicious. Served with fluffy steamed white rice at no extra charge, the portion was generous, and at just $15, it was a fantastic deal. Highly recommend!“
“I've been to this food truck park a few times and for some reason I never ate at this particular truck, but today was the day! Now I'm mad that I didn't try it sooner. The chicken was so tender and cooked to perfection along with the veggies. I'll probably go back and try something else tomorrow.“

“Lucky start is one of the many food carts at Troutdale food station that serves Chinese cuisine. Their food is always fresh and delicious. I am a regular customer and prefer their fresh food for my Chinese food cravings 🤤 Highly recommend these folks. 5 stars for their service and food. God bless 🙏“

“oh my oh my goodness I drove all the way from Spokane, five hours btw, because the food here is just sooo amazing. i drove an extra 2 miles just to deliver some to my friends as well, because they wanted to try some top tier russian food. their vareniki here. Wow, better than my grandmas, just kidding no food is better than my grandmother’s food, but this comes very close. i just adore this food SO much and recommend it to everyone. also their russian green drink is soo tasty, definitely dream about it! yum! thank you. for putting the flavor and the culture and the love in your food. and thank you for the wonderful customer service. that boy eric who served me today, had such a big smile on his face, and was so kind to answer any questions i had with an upbeat attitude!“
