For instance, when I asked him what was in his meat, he creates his own Kafka himself by hand, and he showed me all of the spices that go into it and assured me that it was Safe for my body. His ingredients are fresh and what I would consider to be a grade so if you have Food sensitivities like I do and you just want some variation beyond a salad… give PDX kebab a try. The most delicious lunch I’ve had in a long time. I had his beef Kafka and it was dynamite.“

One of our party is a loyal fan of their empanadas. La Arepa NE served us our first arepas and we were hooked! The sauces are distinct and delicious. There are dairy free and vegan options. Now I know inflation is high but a bowl of vermicelli noodles in chicken broth with some shredded meats should not cost this much!“

“Best chow fun in town. Can't get fresher noodles anywhere because they supply most of the Chinese restaurants and stores in town with their noodles. Their fried rice is really good, too. They also make their own tofu, both fresh and fried. Their rice noodle rolls are good, too. just have to get their early in the day because they sell out fast. The owners are some of the nicest people and work extremely hard. Love giving them my business.“

You also have to bus your own table so surprised it asked for a tip honestly. 🤷‍♀️ Staff was friendly enough, but yeah no service to speak of even though the restaurant is pretty big. Decent and vegetarian options. Overall it felt pricey for what we got (I got a noodle dish and it was 99% noodles with no real veggies to speak of)

We loved it! We waited almost 30 minutes and they don't speak English but it was great anyway. The dinner was 37.00 1 dish and 2 drinks. The portions are giant along with the drinks we will go back again for sure“

We used to come here often when we lived in the area, moved out of state many years ago but still have to come eat here whenever we’re in town!“
