“Stopped here on a whim and this was exactly the kind of place I was hoping to stumble upon in wine country! Small, family-owned, excellent wine from local vineyards.
David was so hospitable and informative (and funny!) and the wines were interesting and delicious. We were particularly impressed by the white and rose offerings that were far more complex than you sometimes see. The pinot noir was also lovely.
Reasonable tasting fee waived with 2 bottle purchase. Highly recommend!“
“Pike Road is an amazing tasting room on 3rd Street in McMinnville! If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and go. My friends are wine club members there and I’m so grateful. Each time we go, Dane, Mike, and anyone else working that day, are friendly, fun, informative, inquisitive, and caring. They pass on their knowledge and love for wine just by having simple, easygoing conversations with their guests. Thank you, Pike Road! See you again soon, I hope! 🥰💜🍷🍇“

“We decided to stop in for a glass of wine before going to dinner. Such a great spot. We tasted several wines and bought a glass or two. Kara was the perfect host and we enjoyed our before dinner drinks. Highly recommend if you are downtown McMinnville.“

“Excellent experience tasting Big Bold Reds with Teresa. Always a pleasure to chat with her and Hedrian. If need a change from Pinot Noir, stop in and enjoy the amazing varitels. Also, Stark wines are available from Roxanne, the wine makers daughter. We always feel like family when we stop by. This is a wonderful tasting room to stop & enjoy the view & wines. Cheers“
“As a travel agent I had some clients on a vacation. Another winery cancelled on them last minute and Bergstrom took them without hesitation. They had an amazing time! Thank you Nicole for accommodating them and making this a memorable trip!“

“We were here for the last night of our vacation in Oregon. We'd done some wine tasting, and a lot of the winery workers recommended coming here, so we did. It was super fun.
We came in, and the space is really nice. It has a pool table in the back, lots of seating at the bar as well as comfy couches, chairs and tables all around, and a huge chandelier with old-school Edison bulbs. There's also a large collection of vinyl records - fun choices. All and all, a nice ambience, with some playfulness and an adult vibe.
We got some food and some wine - my husband got a tempranillo and a white Burgundy, and I got a sparkling rose and a Nerello Mascalese. All were tasty, well served, right temperature, right glasses. Just on point. The food was also surprisingly tasty and nicely prepared - this is way, way nicer than your average bar food, so adjust your expectations accordingly. We got some seasonal pasta and an onion tart, both of which were good, and no complaints there either. We were having a grand old time. We finished off with some dessert wine and blue cheese - great match.
We'd asked for some recommendations on what wines would be good with what food, what the differences between wines would be, and what might be fun to take a bottle home. I can't vouch for the take-home bottle yet, but all of the other info we got was spot-on. They know what they are doing.
We'd come back any day, and will the next time we're in Oregon. This is a great place to go for fantastic wine, good help, and a really happy friendly vibe. They take their wine seriously, and we're so pleased we went. But even if you only kind of like wine, or are just looking for a fun bar, go. You'll be happy you did.“
“Our group came down from Northern Washington to the McMinnville Wine and Food Classic at the Evergreen Flight Museum. We decide to take a trip into Carlton and stopped by K&M Winery to have a glass of wine. The atmosphere is very inviting almost like your family and the wine is so good. The staff and the owners are delightful! Please stop by K&M Winery if you are in Carlton, Oregon and say hi to this amazing group of people.“
“We were lucky enough to meet Rob and his son Ben as we were enjoying wonderful wine. Honestly I am not a fan of Pinot Noir or even any red wine, so I was especially interested in the bubbly and the rose. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Our entire party was so very impressed. Best yet, there will be 6 bottles of bubbly waiting for me on my return home!“
“An amazing experience a great hospitality. Ryan always makes the experience for my wife and our guests enjoyable. I truly hate to tell you about this hidden gem but these guy's deserve the recognition. Hands down my favorite place to hangout and enjoy the sports on TV at the tasting room.“
“The owners make you feel like family. It was a nice mix of different people. They will also make sure extremely drunk people don’t fall into you and gently guide them to another area. Very knowledgeable on wines and have a variety beyond the printed menu. Next time I’m in the area this a guaranteed spot to stop at.“
“We have been in this community since 92’ and have learned the immeasurable value of the people and businesses that care about this place we call home. Rich Washburn and Pinot Vista value leaving this community better than they found out it. It shows in everything they do. And they have great wines! 😎“
“Great wines at a great price!“
“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“
“While I’ve had the chance to enjoy a few of their single-vineyard wines before, it was especially insightful to take a step back and really explore the differences between the Eola-Amity Hills AVA and the Yamhill-Carlton AVA side by side.
At the restaurant I work at, we’ve been pouring their Willamette Valley Pinot for years, so it was great to broaden that perspective and taste through a wider range of vineyard sites. The experience added a lot of depth and context to wines I already appreciated, always a bonus when familiar producers can still surprise you.“

“Thank you, Trellis, for elevating our family's anniversary celebration with desserts that are almost too pretty to eat, hands down so delicious, I'm at a loss for words, which as a writer is a big deal. Appreciate your attention to detail and your role in making our celebration memorable. Make them your go-to for your next special occasion, or enjoy tasty seasonal desserts at their charming restaurant in Dundee.“

“I went to Dobbes with a group of girlfriends for a friend’s bachelorette party. We had the BEST time. Not only was all of the wine delicious (and we all ended up buying a lot!) but the experience was top notch. Shout out to Kevin for being so enthusiastic, knowledgeable & punny! He truly made our day! We went to a few wineries after Dobbes & none of them measured up! I will definitely be back!“

“Really nice estate wines. Jody does a great job talking through the history of the vineyards and describing the wines. If you're buying 6 bottles or more, consider signing up for the wine club for additional discounts and free shipping.“
“We spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon at Sealionne and look forward to going back. The views were stunning and the hospitality was supburb. All of the wine we tasted felt pretty darn special and I am excited to enjoy the bottle of pinot noir we brought home with us.“
“the wine and the service are both fantastic.“
“I love Rob's exceptional wines! As the Beverage Director at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida I literally have access to just about any wine there is in the world, not just the Willamette Valley. While I haven't had a R.Stuart wine I did not enjoy, the single vineyard Daffodil Hill Pinot Noir is a stand out for me every year. I highly recommend stopping by Rob's tasting room when visiting Mcminnville. You will not be disappointed!“

“I love supporting small businesses, and the hidden gem, in Carlton, is a must-visit on your next Oregon wine country adventure. Famously delicious lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch served fresh with regionally sourced ingredients, local Willamette Valley wine, cocktails, and beer, as well as live music on Saturdays. “We did the five course with suggested wine pairing. Hands down the best meal of our lives! Every course, every morsel was perfect. The exact amount of everything, cooked to perfection. The maître D’ and table service was top notch, they treated us like royalty. Worth every penny. The Chocolate Torte sample we got with the dessert sampler is beyond description, decadent heaven. Chef Nathan Bates is world class!“
