“I got the shrimp skewers and shrimp poboy, my fiance got the fish and chips! let me first say I don't go and give many reviews like this. But the batter they use along with the perfect amount of cook time there was on EVERYTHING.... WAS PERFECT. Oh and the cook was having an issue with the fryers and still did great. I gave an extra tip after tasting the food solely on how perfect the food was prepared. Again I don't give reviews like this easily. To end this review it was a very busy day, as the weather was perfect, and they made a new local a customer.”

“Had my birthday dinner here this year. Made a reservation for a window seat. They don't hold tables for reservations, so waited when we got there for a window seat. Food was great, view was spectacular, staff was friendly. 😊”

“Stopped in there while on vacation to get a cup of coffee, I wasn’t sure what I wanted and both ladies were extremely kind and helpful and it was the BEST iced coffee I have ever had and one of the ladies wrote down what they made me! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area! If ever in the area again I will definitely stop there again!!”

“Big Mountain Coffee is hands-down the best coffee I found on my Oregon Coast trip. I visited once, had two lattes, and left with 3 lbs of coffee. The beans were so good I bought an espresso machine when I returned home specifically for them, then ordered 5 more lbs afterward.

Customer service is top tier, quick, friendly, and super responsive via text and messages. Shoutout to the lovely lady at the front counter who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She taught me how to dial in espresso, including the dose per shot, water temperature, and grind size. Can’t recommend enough.”

“We experienced the kindness of strangers today, and I have to brag on it for a minute. Our car unexpectedly stopped, so while we were waiting for AAA, my husband and I ducked into a little restaurant nearby — nothing planned, we just walked in hoping for a warm spot where we could keep an eye on the car. Instead, we walked into a blessing. We were greeted by Dani with the warmest, friendliest smile. She seated us right by the window so we could see our car, and honestly… she was an absolute angel. One of the nicest, kindest people you could ever hope to meet. And the food? Amazing. The clam chowder might just be the best in town. But Dani made the whole experience unforgettable — her kindness, her warmth, her service… it just hit different. We’re already planning to go back. If you visit, ask for Dani and give her a big, generous tip. Places like this — great views, great food, and truly exceptional service — deserve to be recognized. Highly recommend.”

“When we ended up leaving The Horn due to lack of service, we came to West Coast Chowder. The service was fantastic. They even got an order of mac and cheese going for my child immediately, before we sat, understanding that she was hungry and we had already been waiting a while to eat before trying this place. Our server, Rocky, took very good care of us, the food tasted good, and the price was good too. The place was clean and had decent views from the front window. Thanks so much!

“I highly recommend The Fishing Rock resturarant, under new ownership. A great space and delicious food, friendly staff. I’ve had both breakfast and dinners and was not disappointed. The bacon I had with breakfast was thick, meaty slices, the best I’ve had in years. For sports fans they have a tv in the bar area so you can watch your favorite football team play while you dine.”

“This was a fabulous hole-in-the-wall to visit. We stopped in for dinner and to catch an NFL playoff game. By six, the bar was packed. I assumed the clientele were also there for the game, but it turned out, most were there for the food & drinks -- and deservedly so! 😯😂”

“We stopped in to get some snacks for whale watching and we're so glad we did! Lots of options like different popcorn (we got caramel corn which is very yummy), assorted chocolates, a huge variety of saltwater taffy, and Tillamook ice cream.

“Bacon Jam Burger is super (bursting with flavor) but the service from Mike (waiter) rivals the excellent food. Nice the have quite music and felt inviting. Great date night choice. Love that they have Himalayan salt at the table and the water is served from glass bottles. My wife reminds me that the flavor of the shrimp coleslaw was amazing.”
