“Great atmosphere and even better food! My husband and I are visiting and have went here the last couple days. Yesterday we had breakfast which was outstanding! We had lunch there today and it definitely did not disappoint. Very delicious! Plan to head back here tomorrow for breakfast (and another delicious smoothie) before we head home. We are from Kansas and will be counting down the time to come back to this beautiful place and eat here again. Everything about the coast has been breathtaking.”

“I got the shrimp skewers and shrimp poboy, my fiance got the fish and chips! let me first say I don't go and give many reviews like this. But the batter they use along with the perfect amount of cook time there was on EVERYTHING.... WAS PERFECT. Oh and the cook was having an issue with the fryers and still did great. I gave an extra tip after tasting the food solely on how perfect the food was prepared. Again I don't give reviews like this easily. To end this review it was a very busy day, as the weather was perfect, and they made a new local a customer.”

“We were driving from Portland to San Francisco & stopped here for lunch. When we arrived we were told that there was a 45 min wait. We decided to wait because the views were great. We went for a walk & waited the 45 min. When we were seated we were put at a table that sat 2, but the water view was blocked in one seat & the other seat faced a wall (see attached pictures). We asked to be reseated but were told no. After we were served our food we never saw our waiter again. We were unable to get refills on our drinks & were not offered a dessert menu. If I were ever to drive past this area again, I doubt that I would stop here.”

“We were visiting from Bath, North Carolina and have to say this was the best meal we had on our trip! We all had different dishes: the salad rolls, stir fry, pad Thai, and a curry and we sampled it all. Then had the incredible mango sticky rice! It was very reasonably priced, extremely fresh, and cooked perfectly. The service and view are outstanding. We hated that we didn’t have a chance to go back before we left. Thank you Wut and staff!”

“Stopped in there while on vacation to get a cup of coffee, I wasn’t sure what I wanted and both ladies were extremely kind and helpful and it was the BEST iced coffee I have ever had and one of the ladies wrote down what they made me! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area! If ever in the area again I will definitely stop there again!!”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place! The espresso and coffee roasts are divine. The staff make an absolutely perfect latte. I got whole beans and asked for them to be ground- and I was able to specify the coarseness. The barista was so kind and friendly, we had a great chat. She asked if we had any preference or customizations. I also found a really great bracelet for sale. This place is wonderful! I wish I lived closer, but this is on the list to visit the next time we’re in town!!”

“When we ended up leaving The Horn due to lack of service, we came to West Coast Chowder. The service was fantastic. They even got an order of mac and cheese going for my child immediately, before we sat, understanding that she was hungry and we had already been waiting a while to eat before trying this place. Our server, Rocky, took very good care of us, the food tasted good, and the price was good too. The place was clean and had decent views from the front window. Thanks so much!

Kid-friendliness: Service was prompt, which is great when you have a hungry kid, and staff was friendly and kind toward my daughter. Food was affordable and kid-friendly options were available.”

“We experienced the kindness of strangers today, and I have to brag on it for a minute. Our car unexpectedly stopped, so while we were waiting for AAA, my husband and I ducked into a little restaurant nearby — nothing planned, we just walked in hoping for a warm spot where we could keep an eye on the car. Instead, we walked into a blessing. We were greeted by Dani with the warmest, friendliest smile. She seated us right by the window so we could see our car, and honestly… she was an absolute angel. One of the nicest, kindest people you could ever hope to meet. And the food? Amazing. The clam chowder might just be the best in town. But Dani made the whole experience unforgettable — her kindness, her warmth, her service… it just hit different. We’re already planning to go back. If you visit, ask for Dani and give her a big, generous tip. Places like this — great views, great food, and truly exceptional service — deserve to be recognized. Highly recommend.”

“We checked menus at area restaurants and found Sea Hags to be the most diverse. We ordered the halibut salmon braid with sautéed vegetables and crab cake appetizer and shared the meal between the two of us. It was plenty and so delicious. The halibut/ salmon was unique and delicately seasoned & served with a yummy sauce. We also each enjoyed a marionberry lemonade, not too sweet, but well flavored with plenty of berries. I would definitely come back plenty of other dishes I would order.”

“Ive been coming here for 45 years. My two favorite places the kettle corn shop & the taffy shop. The names and owners may have changed over the years, but the delightful quaint scrumptious smells take me back decades of delightful dreamy days in Depoe Bay. ❤️”

“When we walked in we were greeted by the sweet lady behind the bar. It was pretty busy since other restaurants were already closed. She did tell us they were out of chowder but we did not mind. We sat ourselves and did have a wait before our order was taken, but there was only one waitress managing 6 other tables. We had the chicken sandwich, chicken strips, fish and chips and all our food was great. No matter how busy it got our waitress kept her cool and just went with it and still provided great service.”

“The guy that worked there was nice imo, not at all rude or unpleasant like other reviewers on here said. I could tell he had some back pain tho... Maybe to a bunch of rich entitled narcissistic tourists who are used to being greeted with fake smiles, and yes sir, hop to it service people he seems rude, idk? Maybe they just need to get over themselves, lol. My Iced white mocha was 10x better than Starbucks and other coffee shacks nearby I've visited along the coast. If I come back thru this town, I'll be back for another! ☕️wow!🤎”

“Had a nice selection of various sea food entrees and it didn’t disappoint. From the main course to dessert everything was so well seasoned, flavorful, and delicious.

Would highly recommend as it was easy to navigate to, park, and get in as a walk in. Reservations probably are best to ensure you can get a table but it wasn’t crowded during the shoulder season and well worth the price from portions sizing and experience.”

While there’s been a big revamp, the noticeable price increases across many items weren’t reflected in the overall experience or service. For a place I’ve enjoyed for so many years, it felt like the changes took away more than they added.”

“we recently broke down in front of Bonnie's Espresso while traveling along the coast, the coffee was great and the people super nice. The tow truck could only take 1 person with them and my niece and I had no ride, I was going to try to cab but David the coffee guy said he would give us a ride into town, good coffee, good people !! We will be back ,thank you so much 😃”
