“When we ended up leaving The Horn due to lack of service, we came to West Coast Chowder. The service was fantastic. They even got an order of mac and cheese going for my child immediately, before we sat, understanding that she was hungry and we had already been waiting a while to eat before trying this place. Our server, Rocky, took very good care of us, the food tasted good, and the price was good too. The place was clean and had decent views from the front window. Thanks so much!

“My husband surprised me with dinner here on our anniversary celebration since we got married in Depoe Bay (we are from Seattle). We got a table with the scenic view of the water, and that was only the start of the great things amongst others! All of the offerings from the tasting menu were terrific but what really stood out was the pork belly served with coffee ice cream - it was so intriguing! I was pleasantly surprised how well this dish was executed. We might just make this our go-to restaurant each year for our anniversary. I look forward to trying other dishes.”

“We had a great dinner, even with the kids in tow. The food was amazing, the server- James was very attentive and friendly. There was even live music playing, in the bar area. Easily overhead in the restaurant, which the kids loved. It provided a welcome ambiance and entertained the childern. Both kids actually ate super good, which when eating out says alot. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Squatchsami Food Truck and Outpost is amazing! Customer service is top notch! Debbie went above and beyond for us and my unique request for some seasoning to go. Rosemary fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfectly seasoned with fresh chopped rosemary. Each one is a a flavor explosion in your mouth! Chicken was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Seasonal waffle was piled high with delicious fresh apples in a cinnamon, sugar compote. Highly recommend! Amazing food! “Big space inside and outside. For our taste it is a good stop, not great. It is popular so I expect you will find something you like. Food is good. During the warm months a great place to sit outside.”

“I love you new digs! So much room between tables and a truly accessible bathroom. Great service, just like we are all family! I had the Seafood Cobb Salad and of course the seafood was wonderful, but even better was the fruit! It was exactly ripe! Wow! My companions had the Garlic Linguini, the Clam Linguini, and the Marinara Linguini. I stole bites from my happy companions. Yum! And the homemade honey mustard salad dressing they had was terrific.

And the parking lot is such an improvement over trying to find parking on the Newport Bay Front.

Wheelchair accessibility: Truly accessible,with lots of room, bathroom. Only one handicap spot, but we had no problem getting in from a regular spot. And there was lots of room between tables.”
