“What a stunning location! Although we experienced a delay with our food due to a WiFi glitch that prevented orders from reaching the kitchen, the staff handled it with impressive care and urgency. They quickly sorted everything out, allowed guests to switch to lunch options, and generously comped all our meals—plus treated us to delicious lemon pies. Best of all, when the food arrived, it was absolutely incredible. Everyone in our group was raving about their dishes. “My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and went to five wineries in the area. There is a lot of good wine in the area but our best experience was at Winter’s Hill. Matt met us with a sparkling Pinot Gris. Oregon does their sparking wines well. Winter’s Hill had great Pinot Noir and wonderful white wines too. We joined the wine club and are excited for our wine shipments. The customer service is outstanding. Visit - you will not be disappointed.“

It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. “Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

The spring rolls were the highlight — crisp on the outside with a savory mix of cabbage and glass noodles inside. Absolutely delicious.

The chicken Pad Thai was a pleasant surprise. Unlike many places where it turns out overly sweet or dry, this one had a well-balanced, flavorful sauce with just the right amount of spice — no dryness, no sugar overload.

The pineapple fried rice was refreshing and well-cooked, though I did miss the crunch of cashews.

The teriyaki chicken was spot-on — tender, juicy, and glazed perfectly.

⌛ Service & Ambience:
The service can take a little time, especially during peak hours — but with the sheer volume of orders and the top-notch food they’re cranking out, it’s a fair trade. This is a no-nonsense spot, so ambiance isn’t a priority, but the place is clean and pleasant to eat in.

Finally today 8 Jan 2025 I made contact with Trevor. Ownership has recently changed hands. He is backlogged but getting the orders slowly out!!! Kristi Morin and Jesse Gardner from the Wine Club jumped right in and immediately replaced those bottles. Their personal service was over and above, and greatly appreciated. “This place has sentimental value for me, but even without that I give it 5/5. The wines were incredible, the view was absolutely amazing, and Mary Lou, who guided our tasting, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We booked a tasting ahead of time, which is recommended. We went midweek, so we were actually the only people there for almost the entire tasting. A group came in as we were tasting our final wine and deciding on what to purchase. Reservations are recommended, but if they have room they’ll take you as a walk in! My parents were married here 31 years ago, so to be able to visit with my husband and experience it was incredible. I highly recommend visiting, buying some wine, and enjoying your time at Anne Amie! They will ship wine to you (depending upon the state you live in) and you can also ship it yourself from the Newberg Mail Room! You can buy their wines online, too. Amazing experience!“
