Best of all, when the food arrived, it was absolutely incredible. Everyone in our group was raving about their dishes. “We had a delightful visit at Alexana. Mike did an outstanding job describing the Alexana gravity-based winemaking approach, coupled with a tour of the cellar at the beginning. “My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and went to five wineries in the area. There is a lot of good wine in the area but our best experience was at Winter’s Hill. Matt met us with a sparkling Pinot Gris. Oregon does their sparking wines well. Winter’s Hill had great Pinot Noir and wonderful white wines too. We joined the wine club and are excited for our wine shipments. The customer service is outstanding. Visit - you will not be disappointed.“

The ambience is quiet and romantic and the experience of eating the various mushroom specialties is well worth it. “Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. A little warm inside as Newberg was having a heat wave, but understandable. Estimated time, 20 minutes and it was spot on. Worth the wait, food was fresh, hot and tasted just like I remembered. “I came across their wines at the wine shop near our house in Yachats. I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. The staff was super friendly, as was Steve, the owner. We bought some amazing wine and just really enjoyed our afternoon.“

“We had a great time when we visited the Winery in August. Outstanding and professionally trained Somms put Domaine Serene into a league of their own. We joined their wine club, and had some shipping issues with our first order. The box was dropped, and a couple of the bottles were damaged. Kristi Morin and Jesse Gardner from the Wine Club jumped right in and immediately replaced those bottles. Their personal service was over and above, and greatly appreciated. We belong to almost a dozen wine clubs, and nobody delivers the personal service that Domaine Serene does. Thank you for wonderful wines, great service and a commitment to your customers.“

“This place has sentimental value for me, but even without that I give it 5/5. The wines were incredible, the view was absolutely amazing, and Mary Lou, who guided our tasting, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We booked a tasting ahead of time, which is recommended. We went midweek, so we were actually the only people there for almost the entire tasting. A group came in as we were tasting our final wine and deciding on what to purchase. Reservations are recommended, but if they have room they’ll take you as a walk in! My parents were married here 31 years ago, so to be able to visit with my husband and experience it was incredible. I highly recommend visiting, buying some wine, and enjoying your time at Anne Amie! They will ship wine to you (depending upon the state you live in) and you can also ship it yourself from the Newberg Mail Room! You can buy their wines online, too. Amazing experience!“
