Warning: your clothes and your hair will stink like grease and oil when you leave so don’t wear your fancy clothes to eat here because you’ll be on the hook for dry cleaning and in desperate need of a shower after your meal. You’ll definitely have to wash your hair to get the stink out. Worth it though.”

“Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.”

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. It arrived quickly and the hot items were nice and hot. I really wanted to try a few things so we got the miso soup, the seared salmon sushi balls(YUM!), a salmon sushi donut, the golden shrimp bowl (extra YUM!) and the salmon bowl. Everything was so fresh, the portions were great and everything was so flavorful and delicious. We are stuffed and satisfied and we will definitely be ordering again soon! 10/10”

“Sushi Domo has become one of our favorite places to eat in town. At first glance it's a pretty simple place with booth seating. They are only open evenings on weekdays and that can be a little limiting, but this is a gem with delicious food and reasonable prices.”

“My husband and I took friends to the Sunday brunch Sept 8 to celebrate their 62nd anniversary. I had been there with my sisters about a month ago and was pleased with most everything. I made 10:00 reservations. We got there a little early so the waiter asked us to sit down and they’d be with us shortly. After about a 12 minute wait the same waiter came up to us and asked if we had been helped. I said yes we were waiting for you to seat us. He had forgotten us. We ordered coffee from a waitress. Twenty minutes later and no coffee we grabbed another waitress and asked her to get us coffee. Instead of being offered refills on coffee we had to ask for it. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the service. On the other hand the food was very good. Unfortunately good food alone does not make the best experience. Don’t know if we’ll be back. All but the service was great. 😓”

“Large winery estate located in the outskirts of Eugene. Property is stunningly beautiful, around 1000 acres. Very hospitable staff, and we loved all the wines we tried. Given the property, one may expect an air of pretention, but all the employees were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our server was nice enough to provide us with a reinforced case box for the other wine we'd purchased so that we'd be able to bring the wine home on our flight. Nice variety of whites and reds, and they also source grapes from Washington and Southern OR. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area; you won't be disappointed.”

“Most prices are fair and selection is great. However, I went in to get my usual Vitamin D from them, always priced $10-12.99. To my shock it was offered at "2 for the price of 1," but the price had been doubled to $24.99, so that it wasn't 2 for the price of 1 at all. Do they think that consumers are morons? This kind of thing really makes me inclined to shop elsewhere.”

“I was pretty upset because I had ordered a pizza and they told me I could pick it up in an hour. I showed up and there were many people waiting on orders. I was told some had been waiting for 2 hours. I was hungry and trying to have dinner with my 2 year old after a long 4 hour drive coming home from vacation. So I asked for a refund. They told me they would have that refund on my card in a few days. A week later it still wasn’t there. So I went back to the store and asked them about it. The new manager granted my full refund and gave me half the order price for my next order. I ended up happy after being frustrated.”

“I have never eaten here before until just yesterday. It smelled amazing just stepping out into the parking lot, and even more so upon walking in. The guys behind the counter were friendly. I got the shrimp salad. Was delicious. I got a lime Jarritos. I do not recommend as it is tremendously sweet beyond normal soda. The environment looked clean and inviting. The ingredients were fresh & appetizing. They have a good customer service. If you want fresh Mexican food- this is your place.”

We finally found the gem in the corner of 18th and Chambers. It is called the Angkor Cafe. The food is absolutely amazing. People you got to put this place on your next stop. “It was our first time here. Definitely not crowded for a late Monday dinner, but that was to be expected. Overall peaceful environment. Pizza selection is nice. The menu isn’t extensive or overloaded with unnecessary “specialties”. Just the right amount of curiosity is given to try something new, meanwhile the comfortability to stick with the memories of pizza pastimes. The U of O track memorabilia transports you back to a time where the crowd at Hayward Field was jubilantly egging on the unstoppable “Pre”. We chose the whole wheat crust for the “Olympian” pie. The sturdy crunch behind each bite held well with just the perfect pull of freshly grated cheese. Definitely the best pizza I’ve had in quite sometime.
