The place was very clean and we got compensation for the minor mistakes that the staff made, not to mention the food was very delicious and fulfilling! “This is my new favorite restaurant! I have a dairy allergy and almost cried when I realized that I could actually order biscuits and gravy, french toast, and even nachos off of their regular menu. If you have a special dietary need, tell them and the staff is so understanding. They have amazing vegan pastries. The vegan chocolate croissants are to die for! I live two hours away, but will return to Eugene again and again to try everything on their menu.“

“This is the second time I’ve been to Acorn Cafe. It was equally as delicious today. Brought my daughter and we shared the biscuits & gravy and waffles. So much food and extremely delicious. We also ordered the lavender lemon soda and Hawaiian Haze mocktail and they were super tasty and refreshing. Acorn has a lovely ambiance and the service was friendly. They don’t accept tips for themselves but pay it forward instead to folks less fortunate. Well worth supporting! Looking forward to going back and trying everything.“

“Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

“Order ahead of your able because these guys are Busy! Only open Monday thru Friday. A coworker bought me a burrito for lunch and it was amazing. There is a small enclosed covered area with tables and chairs to enjoy your food right away. They also offer Coke Cola, Jarritos and water. *Edit* I did not order ahead and they were super quick with my nachos today“

“I brought my son here for his birthday and we absolutely loved it. The portions were not overwhelming, which can be a problem with some restaurants, and the food was fresh and hot. The shop was clean and not too busy but everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. It's within walking distance from our house and we'll definitely be back.“

“We attended the 50 YEAR REUNION FOR SOUTH EUGENE HIGH SCHOOL.My husband Andy Young was in the class of 1975!! Its a nice place. Roomy and spacious for all the folks that were there!!! Staff was friendly, Bartenders made delicious strong drinks and it was the perfect place for the 1st night of a 3 day reunion!! Everybody was happy to see each other and we had a great time...Oh if you only knew the stories some of these people told about the golf club and the houses around there!! We finally found the gem in the corner of 18th and Chambers. It is called the Angkor Cafe. The food is absolutely amazing. People you got to put this place on your next stop. Parking: There is a free parking lot off the alley behind the building. A bit hard to find, but I've always found a spot there.“

“I came here with my husband and we each ordered something different. I got chicken taquitos and he got the super burrito. Both were around $11. The price point was perfect, in my opinion. Both came with tons of goodies: sour cream, cotija, salsa, avocado, pickled carrots and jalapenos, lettuce, cilantro. I couldn't finish my taquitos, they were so filling. So, $11 for two meals is definitely worth it to me. There's a market inside that carries various imported items that are also priced reasonably. I cannot wait to go back! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the prices were great.“

If you’re looking for an actual spicy salsa (hard to find in Eugene and surrounding areas) the red salsa is a must. Jaguar burrito with carne asada is my favorite, but everything I’ve tried is delicious!“
