“I had an amazing Thai chicken and vegetable dish at The Fork – Fairview Food Plaza, and it did not disappoint! The owners were incredibly friendly and took the time to listen to my preferences. The dish featured large-cut, fresh vegetables and perfectly sliced chicken, all coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. It had a bit of a spicy kick (they forgot to ask about my spice level), but it was still absolutely delicious. Served with fluffy steamed white rice at no extra charge, the portion was generous, and at just $15, it was a fantastic deal. Highly recommend!“

“I happened upon a restaurant that serves authentic Chinese cuisine, including dishes like Mongolian beef, barbecue fried rice, house chow mein, and walnut shrimp, which sounded quite appealing. The staff were very welcoming, and the prices seemed reasonable, with plates ranging from $14 to $15. April, in particular, was very friendly. My children especially enjoyed the noodles, and we all appreciated the fresh food and generous portions, which left us with leftovers to enjoy later.“

A couple years ago I gave this place 1 ⭐. Since then they've made a lot of improvements... Walled eating area with plenty of seating. Not sure if it's heated but better than other stand alone food carts. Books to read. Cables and outlets to charge devices. Plenty of parking (you just need to go up the driveway). Staff went out of their way to make my visit special. Prices are great. I ordered the shredded pork ban mí (which was filling by itself), got a free hot tea (think Lipton), and only paid $7!
There may be a language barrier but it's worth it because you'll love anything you get.

“Everything i get from Jungle Jive is amazing! Even if I didn't like something im trying new, they are more than willing to make a new one! I go here multiple times a week, as they are open early morning to early afternoon. Which is understandable being a small business, you can't be open all hours of the day and night! The owner is so nice, I dont even think she ever takes a day off, I always see her there. She has one employee, who is also always there for the later part of the day, who is also super nice! If you can't make it before they close, then thats your own fault! 🙂“

“If you drive by 174th and Powell, you have to get a coffee from Bee Grounded Coffee, the staff is the best !!! Always remembers our order and its always delicious. “I’m a frequent diner at La Arepa because I love their food and their service. Despite self ordering via a tablet and notification via text when your food is ready, the staff always seems to make an effort to interact with me in a warm friendly way. I almost always get a side of the salad supreme with one of my go to dishes which are the Vegan Pabellon Criollo (rice, impossible grounds, black beans, plantain and avocado slices) or the Vegan Patacon (green plantain sandwich filled with impossible ground beef, vegan Cole slaw, vegan cheese, pickles, and avocado slices). I’ve got a pepper belly and I do wish there was a spicier sauce available but that’s my problem not theirs 🤣“

“Last year I went here for Carne Asada fries, which I really enjoyed. The fries can get cold and hard pretty quick, because you get a LOT of food and it will take you a while to eat it all. I remember that I really enjoyed my birthday meal! I swear what I got had chunks of steak in it - a generous amount.

Yesterday I went with my parents for their anniversary, because Mom had tried my food last year and she's been wanting to go. We don't eat out a lot, money is tight, so special occasions only.

The person who took our order was friendly, the food was good and as before, there was a LOT of it. But this time we got hamburger or some kind of ground meat! Still tasted good as I said, but isn't Carne Asada supposed to be chunks of steak?

So that's why the 4-star review. If you go here for Carne Asada, be sure to verify you are getting steak, not ground beef or whatever. We didn't do this - I didn't know we had to based on my experience last year.

My scoring reflects the fairly tasty food, the friendly service, and the gas station location. Yeah... No atmosphere here! But yes, you can look at the hills, if you can overlook a large, asphalt parking lot, gas station and gas pumps.“
