“Days before my wedding our cake plans fell through. I stumbled upon this place because it was near my venue and I went in for some pastries for breakfast. I saw all the beautiful cakes in the case and asked if they would do my wedding cake. They were incredibly accommodating and kind, they went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and within my limited budget. I never sampled their cake, so I didn’t know what it was going to be like until we were literally doing the cake cutting at the reception. This thing was stunning, exactly how I’d imagined it, and was the best cake I’ve ever tasted in my life. Light, fluffy, not too sweet, moist, perfect cake-to-frosting ratio, delicious frosting and fresh fruit filling. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I am so grateful to them and I can’t recommend them enough! ❤️❤️❤️“

“My partner has a Brazilian background and is also fairly picky... but he was raving over the cake he got here. Something with pineapple? He said it wasn't overly sweet and was made with real whipped cream. He also picked up a Brazilian soda that he hadn't had in 20 years! We'll be back. “OMG!!! Wow! First time buyer and i am so happy! I was craving some pie and googled pie. The Pie Guy came up. I was nervous thinking it wouldbbe too small BUT ITS NOT. I bought 2 pies Amazing Price. Got to the lovely place where i picked it up and it was soo cute outside. Got my pies and my first thought was " Wow these are heavy!" Minutes later got home and dug into it. Now im a Fluffy girl aka foodie. And my taste buds were in Heaven!!!❤️❤️❤️. I loved it so much i could tell it was made with love. Im sold and will be buying more. “Whent to Panadería el jarochito, It's a little nuke in the wall bakery. I went there to get a couple of (Mexican Pan Dulce) To my surprise, they were quite cheap.The regular ones are ($1.25).The ones with filling are ($1.75).I also ended up getting 2 slices of cake that they had there (mil ojas & 3 leches) Each costing ($4).Would recommend coming here and getting a couple pieces of sweet mexican bread.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.Parking: Not really, that much parking in front of this shop.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of snacks and treats.Wheelchair accessibility: Not really, that much accessibility.“
“This place holds a special place in my heart. My daughter and I watched Chopped and one day after a long, hard appointment we were walking and talking and found this bakery. It’s been a go to place for us to connect and talk over the years. Fast forward my husband took me on a first date to learn how to bake macarons. You all did my wedding cakes/treats. I get something special from you guys for every event in our lives. Recently my mother had some health concerns and underwent radiation. Loss of appetite, pain, over all crappy. One day I brought her a short bread toffee pastry. She LOVED IT! Since then she craves them. It was the only thing she was able to eat or wanted to eat. I went in one day to buy her a few and they were sold out . They kindly told me that I could come back tomorrow and they would save me some. I arrived the next day to a FRESH Box of special created toffee shortbread. Sold to me at a discount and wrote on the box. The kindness and compassion you showed my family and I was unreal. “Grand Central bakery is an amazing small coffee shop chain. Yesterday I got their seasonal honey latte and a vegetarian quiche, and both were absolutely delicious! They also make some really good breakfast sandwiches. I've had in the past past and a whole assortment of tasty pastries. I would categorize their pastries as some of the most hearty pastries around.“
“I first tasted this bakeries delicious offerings at the Orenco Farmers market in 2023. I fell hard for their Durum loaf! It makes for the best apple and white cheddar cheese sandwiches. Then I tried their bacon cruffin, their ham and Gruyère croissant and finally the cinnamon bun all of which are outstanding. This is why I drove here several times this winter from Hillsboro. Go for the bread, stay for the rest! Love you guys!“
