“A little unassuming diner tucked away in Tillamook, but the food was really tasty and a good value. It's a small place, maybe 10 tables total with some counter seating, but everything we had was great. The server was quick and friendly and the food came out as ordered. I wish we had been hungry for pie because they looked amazing and are obviously homemade. I think the owner was talking to one person about waiting to get their berries. Good stuff.“

Not only did the staff keep my purse safe but they sent us home with some of their delicious chowder for our long drive home. Also the food (fish and chips) we had eaten at lunch was wonderful! There was no cell signal but the Wi-Fi worked fine to make calls and connect to my computer. The views from my room were amazing! The cafe across the street also highly recommended. “My friend and I stopped at the Blue Agate Cafe looking for food and a bathroom and a place to sit. We visited during Phase 1 of re-opening from Covid19. We were hungry and grubby and not from the area. But, we were met with eyes smiling from behind a mask and immediately felt at ease. After our order was placed, I asked about using the restroom facilities. I was met at the back door with a squirt of hand sanitizer so, mask on, I took care of my needs and washed with soap and running water, for 20 seconds, twice. We were offered outdoor seating in a pretty little back courtyard sheltered from the wind and full of blooming flowers. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the house made veggie burger and, as a connoisseur of veggie burgers, this was easily one of the best I have ever had. The service was friendly and just made me feel easy and welcome. Lunch yesterday was a delightful culinary and social experience. I highly recommend this small eatery to anybody wishing to be treated as family in all the best ways. Thank you.“

“I went to the Salmonberry tonight with my family and friends for the first time since they reopened. I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY. The food was incredible. It was so fresh and delicious and quick. But what really got me was the service. The young man who was hosting was polite and accommodating. The staff were all friendly. I have to say having a really good meal with a very pleasant dinning experience on the nicest day of the summer was magical. This is the Salmonberry at its best!!!“

“We ordered the Fish and Chips, mine with JoJo's, while my boyfriend had tator tots. The fish was okay, not great though. My boyfriend did not like the breading at all. He also did not touch his clam chowder as it had butter or oil pooling on the top.

The atmosphere here is excellent. The music was good and not too loud. You can easily hold a conversation and tell what song is playing as well as hear it clearly. There is a large smoking section out back with some seating. The women's restroom could have used a cleaning but my boyfriend said the men's room was spectacular.

There is a really cool whale skeleton out back of the bar. We got out of he car and headed toward the field to check out what looked like possible mushroom shaped trees with a bench in the distance and noticed a large whale skeleton on the ground next the to the propane tank. Seemed a little out of place but that didn't deter from how cool it was to see one of those up close.

The waitress didn't talk much but she was on point with our order. She didn't write a thing down and got everything perfectly correct. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a cool place to chill, have a couple drinks, and chat it up with friends/family while listening to good music.“

“This place has great scenery by the water and outstanding dining was a treat on a nice sunny day.
The pricing is higher than in Tillamook but the food was worth it.
Everything tasted farm to table. The smell of the wood-fired oven kept my stomach ready to eat more.
They have excellent cocktails and non alcoholic drinks on the menu.

“The Chinese Garden Restaurant has new owners and it is even better than it was before. Everything is cooked fresh, and large portions, and high quality. It is also very reasonably priced for all the food you get and the nice environment. We love the hot and sour soup that comes free with an entree and the chicken lettuce wraps have fantastic flavor. “Went for happy hour. There are reviews talking about 5 dollar appetizers and drinks. They are older and the prices have gone up. There was a live band and they were excellent, including a bass player on a six string bass! The fish and chips was literally one fish, but it tasted amazing. Wife had the fruit salad and said it was also amazing. Two beers, two Moscow mules. 50 bucks plus tips. They have a couple of younger servers who can’t serve alcohol. So it took a long time to get drinks. Like 20 minutes. We were on vacation time, so it didn’t matter, but thought it was worth a mention. The server was super nice and apologetic, so nothing against her.“
