We had been boating and fishing in Astoria, Oregon, and we decided to buy strawberry milkshakes at Dairy Queen as we headed to Canon Beach, Oregon. The store was clean and well-maintained and the strawberry milkshakes were delicious. Thank you, Dairy Queen, for providing us with our milkshake refreshments.“

The live acoustic Guitar performance by Wes who had played there for years was relaxing and perfect for the relaxing evening my friend Lisa and I needed the other night. But Jack the owner and creator of this wonderful Bistro ended our evening sharing with us both his life story and path that got him to where he is today, including sharing samples of amazing herbal after dinner liqueurs I have never heard of. We had the best time ever. Cannon beach is one of our favorite getaway destinations and the Bistro a restaurant that is in its own class of excellence that I hope everyone who goes to Cannon beach to getaway has the opportunity to experience. We feel blessed to have had the incredible evening we had.“

“For being connected to a gas station they have good food. They offer a variety of food. Pizza is good. I like the salad bar. One side of the restaurant is family and the other side is a full bar. Lots of TV to catch your favorite games and video poker machines. Staff are friendly and don't forget people. We saw a couple of what appeared to be regulars and the staff treated everyone like you were a regular also.“

Brisket tacos were very juicy and had far more brisket than I expected, great smoke flavor and the bark was incredible. Reuben had a good amount of meat, bread was tasty, fries were excellent. We shared the duck board and the cubano and were impressed by the quality. “Don't let the temporary Line dissuade you from getting one of the best slices of pizza in Oregon. Been coming here for more than two decades. It's actually one of the reasons we come down to Cannon Beach.

They regularly have pepperoni, cheese, vegetarian, and either a combo or a meat lovers slice to choose from. Yesterday the combo involved olives and mushrooms with the meat which I liked a lot. Photo included. Today it was Banana pepperoncini which added a very nice kick. We regularly get one of each. And usually a couple of pepperoni.

It's thin slice pizza so we'd like to ask for the slices to stay in the oven just a little longer so they crust is crispy. Don't skip sprinkling the Parmesan and the red pepper if you like kick and added richness of flavor -- for some reason their Parmesan is always great at bringing out even more flavor.

They serve beer like Stella on top, as well as sodas. And we have brought bottles of champagne to open with our pizza because Cannon Beach and Hood River are the only two towns in Oregon that are open can carry permitting. The locals told us that.

The service is excellent. Even later at night In recent visits Christian has remembered our names, which is always impressive given the volume of traffic.

It's also our habit to pick up a slice on the way out of town. It's one of the best things about the ride home.“

“This place is usually pretty good. It’s just inconsistent. We went yesterday and the guy working there said they don’t do the jumbo size anymore and they don’t have Bavarian cream. I’ll still probably go back next time though so I’ll see what’s changed.“

I ordered the fresh pan fried Oysters Cajun style and they literally melted in my mouth! Probably the best oysters I’ve ever had…wow! “This is a Japanese restaurant by the seaside.🌊 Vegan options are clearly marked with a ♡, which makes it super easy!🌱 The service was very polite and attentive!

I ordered the Fried Avocado Roll and the Miso Soup Bowl.🍣 It was my first time trying a deep fried sushi roll, and it was sooo good!👍 The miso soup tasted nostalgic and comforting, just like home!🍲

That said, it felt a bit pricey for the portion.🤔Maybe it’s just the seaside pricing.💸“
