“My wife and I recently shared the evening of our 29th Wedding anniversary at the Side Door. While we always enjoy our visits, this night was even more special. The ambiance at the Side Door is quite exceptional ; it always has been but, like everything here, it just keeps getting better. Warm, soft lighting, high ceiling with lazily turning ceiling fans, earth tone colors, fireplace with soft leather couches, good background jazz, and booths for those who wish them. The menu is probably the best on the Coast. While so many restaurants have downsized their menus, and failed to even adequately service them, Brook has maintained a sizable array of offerings that the kitchen unfailingly puts out in a consistent and timely fashion. I had the rack of lamb, which I've ordered four of the last six or seven times we've been in (not commonly offered otherwise, in our area). It was superb; it's a full rack served as four double chops, on a bed of vegetable risotto the like of which neither we've never found elsewhere. With the addition of grilled broccolini, the meal was complete, and absolutely wonderful. My wife's 16oz New York steak with grilled prawns was equally good (we exchanged portions). We had not tried the Coconut Creme Pie before (said to be Jeremy's favorite) but oh my god is it good. It's a must try. If you haven't been to the Side Door, you won't regret going. Price points for everyone.”

“Just found the best chowder on the north end of the Oregon coast! Get yourself over to Lincoln City and drop by Pub Fish & Chips! Chowder is FULL of clams, smooth, and thick. Seasoned to be tasty without distracting from the clams. And the fish and chips is amazing too! Huge pieces, generous servings of fries, and a very reasonable price! We're definitely coming back. 😊”

“Small disappointment regarding their menu. Pouring a 6 oz beer in a brandy sniffer, when all of the other customers are getting 16 oz.
Makes no sense.
If you're going to serve small amounts of beer, please put in the menu!”

“Squatchsami Food Truck and Outpost is amazing! Customer service is top notch! Debbie went above and beyond for us and my unique request for some seasoning to go. Rosemary fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfectly seasoned with fresh chopped rosemary. Each one is a a flavor explosion in your mouth! Chicken was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Seasonal waffle was piled high with delicious fresh apples in a cinnamon, sugar compote. Highly recommend! Amazing food! Amazing Customer Service! Local Business!”

“This is one of our favorite places to eat on the coast because of the combination of good food and good view. You can get a good view from almost anywhere in the restaurant. This visit the food wasn’t quite as good as we remembered however. Also, we had two little kids and wanted a high chair and booster and they asked if a booth was okay which it was, but we didn’t understand it was a high booth so the baby also had to use a booster seat and is really too little for it so my husband had to kind of hold him in the whole time so a little more distracting from the meal than we would have liked. Otherwise it was great :)

Kid-friendliness: If you want a high chair and they mention a booth, be sure to specify if it’s a regular or high top booth.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taste of India, and I have to say, it was some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The coconut curry was absolutely divine, rich and creamy with just the right balance of spices. The garlic naan was perfectly soft and fragrant, an ideal complement to the curry. Every bite was a delight.

The service was excellent, too. We had two waiters assisting us. The younger one seemed like he was still learning the ropes, but the more experienced waiter was right there guiding him and checking in on us. He even made some fantastic recommendations, and we’re already looking forward to trying them next time.

The presentation of the dishes was impressive, served in unique and thoughtfully chosen dishes that added to the overall experience. The restaurant has an upscale vibe, but there were a few quirky touches that made it feel charming rather than stuffy. Honestly, the food is so good that any little imperfections are easily overlooked.

It’s no surprise that this place has earned so many rave reviews. The quality of the food alone is worth the visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work, Taste of India!

“Went in for a burger July 6th, staff is great and very polite and kind considering they had a huge phone to go order and most tables filled waiting to order.
