“I had a delightful jalapeno and bacon pastry yesterday that is worthy of taking the time to review with sincerity. 10 out of 10!! Creative menu, expertly brewed coffees, a warm cozy environment, plus wine, and more! One of the few places open late, but also is bumping in the a m. - I noticed business meetings happening amongst teenagers doing homework on their laptops and agree it has the right environment for this our community needed. I stop here occasionally during the week on my way to work and my husband and I have a Saturday morning tradition of driving in town with our dogs for a ride and getting a coffee, husband gets a smoothie (he doesn’t like coffee) and our dogs get a dog treat! They are always so kind, remember our orders, and the dogs are always so excited to see them and go there! Great service. I also love that they support other local business by selling a few food items from a local farm! Try the mighty bites, they are delicious little snack. We moved here last summer and this coffee stand has become our first “regular” place we go locally.“

Firstly the coffee was excellent, I got a cortado and it was made just right 👌.
The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly.
There is room to sit with a few tables and I think the setup was really nice 👏.
Plus they play great music and have quality food.“

“I’ve been going to this Human Bean since is was in elementary school! I’m almost 30 now! Always consistent, friendly baristas. This particular stand is very familiar, and gives me good memories of walking on lunch from Crater to get a drink! It’s somewhat nostalgic in a way. Good memories for sure, and many more to come :)“

“Great breakfast and coffee place in Jacksonville. One Cowboy coffee (tall dark with 2 shots), one tall coffee, an Eggspresso and and Eggle, all yummy. Ran into town and got it to go -- all still very hot when I arrived back at the Hummingbird Inn!“
