“My husband and I went here for a late lunch today. I was really excited to see a Northern Vietnamese restaurant open in our neighborhood as Bun Cha is one of my favorite dishes I've had traveling. I was blown away by how good the food was here. The spring rolls were so fresh and stuffed with filling. You should eat them with the homemade chill sauce and pickled garlic they go so nicely together. The Bun Cha was incredibly flavorful and had so much meat. I really loved the texture of the noodles too. We got Pho too and it was super good. I think it's important that people know that Northern pho and Southern pho have very different flavors (I love both). The flavor of this one is very light and herbal and has a soft marrow taste.

The thing I loved the most though was how kind the owner was. It felt like I was eating in his home. He talked to us awhile about food, culture and the pride he and his wife have in the dishes they make. It made me feel very warm to hear him share everything. :) I hope this restaurant continues to gain traction and that people are able to embrace Northern Vietnamese food too. <3“

“We came on the recommendation of an acquaintance and were so happy that we did. My beef rice plate with house-made fish sauce was yummy and my partner's vegetarian (prob vegan) soup was also excellent. Friendly service and fast food prep didn't hurt, either. We're definitely making this a go-to restaurant.“

“Life's been a bit rough came in. It probably was obvious I was crying before i came in. The staff member that helped me was super sweet and kind. I was so preoccupied with having an emotional day I missed whether they had a name tag to report how good they were. My memory isn't the best right now with having emotions high but I think she had short black hair and some jewelry I don't remember exactly what jewelry/piercings as my brain feels like mush from stress. I'm just trying to describe the staff member in place of when I should have checked if they had a name tag I was just spacey. Thank you to that staff member you made my day a lot better with how kind and sweet you were.“

“Great spot and close to my house. Machines like to pay out instead of being a reverse ATM EVERY TIME I try playing. Most of the bartenders are super cool, friendly and ever attentive to all their customer needs. There’s one in particular that I really enjoy seeing when I stop in….she’s super friendly, and always checks in to make sure I have everything I need to enjoy myself first the time I’m there. Oh and she makes the best fries! I believe she works later in the week andhh only the evening shifts. I won’t blast her name on here but if she see this review she’ll know who she is ? I’m happy the new owners are being proactive and finding new ways to bring in more customers as well as exploring new menu ideas. I believe every Friday they’re now doing karaoke along with a new featured Meal. My favorite are the Jello Shots! I’m so excited to see what’s in the future for this place. “Picked up food to go. The environment looked intimate and the food was really good especially for the price. Prices are friendlier than Syun Izakaya but equally as good. I got the katsu don, salmon poke don and the omakase roll which were all very good and portions were generous.“
